The merchandise here is always good– classy and fashionable. But 3x now Ive gone to the Domain location and I am bombarded by the pushy sales ladies. Even when I drop the hint«no thank you Im just checking” — they continue to be pushy. A professional sales person would know how to READTHEIRCUSTOMERS– but not here. I even started to walk out and one of them followed me and said«but what about the purple…” — when I never mentioned wanting anything purple. Come on ladies– BACKOFF! You make for a very annoying shopping experience. I will give this ONEMORETRY.

I’ve shopped at Cache in the Domain twice recently. Both times were disasterous. I found a few dresses that I liked. Unfortunately, they were stained. One had black marks(I guess from the hanger?) all over it. I went to look for another dress of the same style in my size, and they ALL had black marks all over them. The second time I shopped there I found a beautiful black dress that I thought would be perfect for a work function. It had white marks all over it– ALLOVER the bottom. I’ve seen deodorant marks at the top and armholes of a few items in other stores(and this is understandable), but this was all over the bottom of the dress. I don’t know how they store their clothing in the back, but obviously it’s not done with care. Also, both times I shopped here there was a ridiculous and pushy older sales associate who made the most asinine suggestions about clothing items she thought might work for the functions I was going to. One, a friend’s office Christmas party, which I made clear was going to be an upscalwe event. Formal, but not quite black tie. She kept bringing the most scandalous looking items in the store, and looking genuinely irritated when I told her those items wouldn’t work. I told her I was looking for a red or black dress, and she kept bringing things like Zebra or Leopard printed items. She also kept pushing pants and a jacket on me. Literally kept brining them up in conversation, «well, how about these pants and jacket» over and over again, after I told her I am ONLY interested in DRESSES. She must have pushed the pants and jacket on me at least five times. At least. The last time I was there, the same associate asked what type of event I was shopping for. I told her I was going to a political fundraiser. I searched the store, and brought in every item I thought could work– why do I shop there in the first place, you ask? I need a small store with a fairly limited selection, otherwise I get overwhelmed and am unable to pick anything. It may seem odd, but whatever. Continuing. A political fundraiser, ladies and gentlemen. I told her this. Among other totally absurd suggestions for outfits she made, she brings me A GOLDSEQUINEDMICROMINISKIRT!!! Seriously. I tell her no thanks, but that wont work. Then she brings me yet another animal print item(remember last time?). I tell her that type of thing is totally inappropriate for this event, that I searched the store and brought in everything I was looking for, and thank you. She gets huffy, and says to me «I remember you. You’ve shopped with us before.» I tell her yes. And, finally she leaves me alone. The whole ordeal was utterly exhausting. Bottom Line: If you’re going to shop at Cache, go to the one at Barton Creek mall, or order online. Hopefully the items will be clean, and you will not be constantly hassled by a sales associate with less brains than fashion sense– fashion sense that’s iffy at best.

I bought a dress for my girlfriend here and the sales people were very cool. First of all they pulled the dress I wanted off the dummy in the window to make sure no one bought it before Isabelle could try it on. Secondly, they made the whole experience very pleasant. They suggested alternative dresses that ultimately validated that I picked the best one to begin with and they kept me company while Isabelle tried on multiple dresses. I liked the style of the clothing there and although the prices are not cheap, I think it is worth it.
