DAMN IT! I JUST missed being the first to review the Chair Guy!
The chair guy is a life saver to all those individuals waiting in line for delicious Franklin BBQ in Austin. On Saturday, people start getting in line around 8 AM and Franklin BBQ doesn’t open until 11, so you have hours of waiting. If you’re from out of town (like Jesse and I were) then you need some chairs and renting is the best option. The chair guy has plenty of chairs to keep your booty comfy while you wait!
$ 5 bucks for a chair and you’re relaxin’ in the Austin sun, drinking your beers, prepping for that tummy full of BBQ! Thanks, Chair Guy!

Chair Guy is a saint to those at the mercy of Franklin Barbecue’s irresistible allure who like us woke up at 6am to wait several hours.
At $ 5 a chair, he is providing rest for the weary. He’s also tech savvy and on Facebook, twitter, and now Unilocal.A big plus is that he accepts major credit cards — Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and even AmEx.
On Sunday 2÷16÷14 he arrived at around 7:38am and he was selling those chairs like hot cakes. I counted he had 15 chairs total to begin with and now he just rolled out 10 more, haha!
I’m sitting on one of his chairs now in line at Franklin BBQ and enjoying a Juan in a Million Don Juan Taco, writing this review and taking a load off my feet, thanks Chair Guy!
