Was in the area and stopped in this Chili’s Location. From the slimy white paste in side my water glass stuck to the glass submerged in my water to the tasteless Fajita plate I tried to endure. I will not be coming back. The only positive comment I can leave is the fact that they extended a military discount on our check. For the experience 15% gratuity was too high.

True, this is Chili’s and they have a lot of them nationwide, so the main reason I gave 5 stars was the service and food. Joseph and Casey were both really cool and their late night happy hour was a good deal($ 4 house margarita and a $ 5 presidente(sic) margarita). I’ve eaten at a number of Chili’s before, but the service and prices were good here, so we enjoyed it.

A very fine restaurant indeed. This is where I go after work to create my finest memes. The frosty margs get my juices flowing and from there on its just me, my macbook, and my memes. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Remember to tip them just like I tip my fedora.

4 stars for the fact Courtney works here. She’s nice and thorough and that smile can light up a room. I usually visit Chilis on my lunch breaks and although this location is further from my office, I’ll gladly choose this location over any other.

Amazing service, great atmosphere. Gay friendly. I Came with my partner and we felt very comfortable there. Lindsey was our waitress and she was fantastic. Bubbly personality. She recommend the desert and she was right… It changed our lives lol.

At lunch time, this Chili’s is WAAAYYYY better than the one located off 35& Airport. The food came fast and it was surprisingly easy to get a table during the lunch rush. The down side? The service was sub-par, almost non-existent after we got out food. And, the portion size left you feeling like ‘that’s it?’. I ordered a chicken sandwich and it only took up half of the bun. :/ This location will work to satisfy a Chili’s craving, but there are too many other great options in the area to make this my ‘go to’ lunch spot.

I come to this Chili’s about 4 times a year to celebrate bdays with some old coworkers. It’s not overly amazing food but for whatever reason we’ve always celebrated at Chili’s. The service is usually pretty good but I am not a fan of those tablets that they want you to use to pay, order etc. We tried the fried pickles a couple visits back and they were pretty tasty. I usually get the Santa Fe Chicken salad but have become increasingly disappointed with it the last few visits. They put way too many tortilla strips and hardly enough salad and other fixings. The last time I was there the chicken looked a little too pink for my liking but everyone else at the table said it was fine so I ate it. I didn’t get sick but still I’d prefer it not to look pink. I would skip the ranch dressing, get the santa fe sauce on the side and also get the citrus-balsamic dressing from the quesadilla explosion salad on the side. I’ll have to try a different menu item in May though for our next visit– my birthday!

I went to lunch at Chili’s with co-workers to celebrate her upcoming wedding. I asked about vegan options and the waiter was able to pull up a vegetarian menu on his tablet, which also denoted whether each item had dairy(D) egg(E) or Honey(H). I ordered the spicy shrimp tacos, but substituted black beans for shrimp. It came with a side of cilantro citrus rice and black beans. I had them sub the black beans for steamed broccoli since there would already be black beans in the tacos. I also ordered a size of roasted garlic roasted asparagus and tomatoes. The tacos were fine. The rice was a little bland, all though in their difference, I’ve been suffering from cedar fever, so my taste buds haven’t been up to snuff. The asparagus dish was quite tasty, just lightly seasoned with oil, salt and pepper, but I would have preferred it better roasted. It was cooked just enough to turn it bright green and slightly less than completely crunchy. When I think of roasted veggies I like them to be roasted to the point where they are a little(I’m having trouble finding the word to describe) browned? crusted? caramelized? My meal cost me $ 18 after tax at tip, which seems pretty steep for lunch. It wasn’t until after I’d chosen that I noticed the lunch combo specials which were much cheaper, but since I was with a group of non-vegan co-workers I was trying to keep as low profile as possible, so I didn’t want to have to make everyone wait while I looked up the veganness of each of the lunch combo options. In the mean time, it took over 45 minutes for them to serve us our food, and by then we’d all pretty much gotten stuffed on chips and salsa(or whatever soup came with their meal), and ran out of time, so we all got boxes and just took the food to go. Anyway, Chili’s would never be my first choice, if it were up to me to pick the restaurant, but in a situation like this, I’m glad I was able participate and to find an interesting vegan options, and not just have to spend some ridiculous amount of money on steamed veggies or a boring salad that I easily make at home in under 5 minutes for under $ 5.

This location is very clean and well maintained compared to other Chili’s. However, the food here leaves much to be desired. I had the Margarita Chicken Bowl for dinner. It actually felt like a worse, but more expensive version of the burrito bowl from Chipotle. The ingredients were mostly the same with chicken, rice, beans, salsa, and vegetables. However, Chipotle’s ingredients have much better flavor as well as texture. I also had the molten chocolate cake, which was pretty tasty. On the bright side, our waiters were very attentive, and they provided great service throughout the entirety of the meal. I also really like the tablet on each table. The trivia game can be quite entertaining with a group.

Glad I didn’t read the reviews before stopping at this Chili’s. I had originally planned to eat at the Triangle, but the restaurant wasn’t open, so stopped at Chili’s. Never had been to this location. My turkey sandwich with baked apples was tasty and filling, and my friend’s salmon dinner was good as well. Service was excellent. No complaints here, although the management should have run the drunk at the next table out of the restaurant.

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Ordered my sons kiddie plate and an appetizer right away. The idea being we feed him and by the time our food comes out we can eat in piece. Well 10 min later we order our entrée and still no appetizer or kids meal. Ten more minutes pass and nothing. Five minutes later the waiter comes out and says our food is ok it’s way. Well what about the appetizer or kids plate? Blank look of an idiot. Well forget it. We got up and left. Terrible service. I cannot recommend. They have completely destroyed our sons eating and sleeping schedule. Ruined day.

Drove into the area so my plan was to just pick up some food and head back north. Well luckily I had to stop to get gas and peeked into my togo food because the salad I had ordered was in it’s see through togo box already dressed. Not only was my salad already dressed… it was soaking, drenched in dressing. What line cook decided to put a dressed salad for a togo? Like that was normal. Or worse, who bagged my order and didnt check on any of the items or look into the see through box and correct this mistake? The fried chicken that comes on the salad was also in the same box but thats not surprising at this point. I had to wait for them to re-fire my salad when I called them and told them of the mistake. The order that I was ment to scoop up and get back home took my about 45 minutes by the time it was all corrected. I did get a free tea while I was waiting… so there’s that. –_– Will not be going back.

So why give this restaurant a 5? They have a large variety of food. I’ve tried out a lot of their food and was immensely impressed by a large amount of it. I enjoy their juicy honey crispers, their shrimp tacos, the great burgers they have here(though I will admit that there are better places to get a burger at in town), awesome fish, and their fajitas are out of this world amazing. The only thing I didn’t really like here is their pizza. Chili’s clearly is not a place to go get pizza from as their pizzas are too small and a bit stale. Other than that I really don’t have much to complain about Chili’s. They’re outstanding and probably my favorite restaurant in Austin right now. I have a friend who used to live in Austin who feels the same way, Chili’s is great.

The only reason this review is even worth one star is because of the southwestern egg rolls(we ordered double thank goodness) which would take a complete idiot to be able to mess up. My boyfriend and I wanted something quick and easy for dinner so we ordered the Triple Dipper and a bowl of Soup & Salad combo. Both of us strongly dislike onions and tomatoes. The whole time he was on the phone ordering, he emphasized to the young man how pertinent it was for there to be NO onion or tomato on anything. Well… right there on top of our salad(which had a clear lid) was onion and finely chopped tomato. So my boyfriend calls Chilis. The first employee hung up on him. Finally he gets on the phone with the young man who took his order. The young man tells him that he checked our order and there was no onions or tomatoes, and proceeded to basically call my boyfriend a liar! Yes, like we have nothing better to do than make these things up! The young man puts my boyfriend on hold, without telling him, and transfers him to the manager. The manager then does nothing to solve the matter, again blames my boyfriend and basically calls him a liar as well. WHATKINDOFSERVICEISTHAT?! I don’t care if you think the customer is wrong, that is NOT how you treat a customer, and I have been in retail management for years. I’m absolutely appalled. Not to mention, the rest of the food was terrible! The only thing that was good was the egg rolls, and they’re frozen! ‘I want my money back, money back, money back I want my money back, money back, money back Chillliiiiiisss flavorless fooood!’

I think that Chili’s isn’t all that special, but the food was pretty good given my expectations for chain restaurants. The cheese fries were amazing! I don’t care how unhealthy they maybe. they are just that good. The steak was alright. The onion strings were really salty and oily. Service was attentive and nice. I knew that our waiter was really trying hard to get our party’s orders right. There were about 2 – 3 mistakes but I’ll be forgiving given that we had a party of 20 or so. Their molten chocolate cake is to die for!!!

Sometimes Chili’s is good. This is not one of those times. Our waiter was friendly, but more than a bit harried at times. The salsa was very thin and lacking on flavor. This was especially a shame considering that the queso was actually pretty good. Two of the burgers had thick-sliced bacon which came out more than undercooked. When we asked about getting the bacon crispier, the waiter initially made an explanation about the bacon being thick cut and, as such, not looking as well done. Speaking bluntly, it’s my food and it should be cooked how I want.(Within reason, of course.) The burgers ended up being pretty decent, although overwhelming. I’d love to say with certainty whether or not I’d eat at Chili’s again, but their inconsistency makes it impossible to say.
