I am writing this with very mixed feelings. My daughter had her ears pierced here about year ago and we had a very positive experience. Absolutely no complaints at all. But, today we were in there to buy some earings and witnessed something that left me almost in tears.
A man came in with his daughter, maybe 5 or 6. She had had her ears pierced a couple of months ago, but one of the earings had come out the next day, and the hole had closed up, and he wanted her to get it re-​pierced. The little girl was vocal from the get go that she didn’t want her ear pierced again. Regardless they walked over and he sat down in the chair with the girl in his lap and the employee had him fill out the release form while she put on her gloves. The girl by this point was crying and saying over and over that she didn’t want this done. By the time the employee managed to make the mark on her ear, the girl was full bore screaming, the dad was trying to hold her still, but she kept thrashing her head.
There was only one employee so even though were ready to check out, all we could do was watch and listen to this girl scream. I finally told the employee that we really wanted to check out and leave. She took off her gloves, came to the register, and rang us up. I looked her in the eye and said «you have to have a policy against doing this against a childs will». She ignored me and handed us our bag. We left, so I don’t know what ultimately happened.
I’m still really upset. Probably a lot at myself for not doing something more to intervene.

My daughter got her ears pierced here. They were very thorough and made her feel comfortable. There were also lots if treats for her to choose from when she was finished.
