I hate getting lab work done, so it’s hard to like a place that does it. But when it’s that time of year, I like to get it over with quickly and not have to travel too far. I live way out in the sticks with the coyotes and rattlesnakes, so that’s sometimes a tall order, ma’am. My search for CPL labs turned up this location in Four Points, just off Hwy 2222 at the top of the giant hill before you get to McNeil Drive. The morning I arrived, they processed my paperwork quickly and had me in and out in about 15 minutes. The phlebotomist who did the blood draw(Ben) was skilled and kind, which counts for a lot when someone is sticking a needle in your arm. I didn’t even bruise! I would make a terrible junkie. The building houses a couple of other businesses, so be aware that CPL is suite #300 and is all the way to the back. There isn’t really clear signage, but you can see the suite number from the parking lot. The only thing that would make me happier is not having to ever have another needle stuck in my arm. There’s still a wishful little kid inside of all of us.
