This Costco has a nice friendly atmosphere. I prefer Sams Club, but the fat free milk and the Cape Cod potato chips, draw me to this Costco.

I frequent this location for groceries. The shopping experience is nice. I like the bulk options for stuff. The only negative thing is the staff. I absolutely hate checking out at this location. The people working the lines are rude and inconsiderate. They never crack a smile, and toss your items into a box like trash. It’s not like we’re spending pennies, so I guess I expect a little more?

I am happy yet not happy with this particular Costco. I have encountered a couple of rude associates at this Costco. I only continue to shop at Costco because of the great deals and spectacular merchandise. The first associate that I ever encountered when I first entered Costco’s doors was a door greeter. I told him that I was interested in becoming a member. Instead of welcoming me with open arms, he smarted, «Around the corner please, and to the right.» This was horrible new member service, and Costco is lucky that I stayed with them! I had to end up purchasing my membership online due to an issue with my application. I went to obtain my membership card at the member service desk, and Adonis was not very welcoming. He had a smart aleck tone to his voice. He asked me if I was going to shop frequently and if I knew about the Executive Membership. I declined and told him that I researched it all online, and he gave me an attitude. He said with a rude tone of voice, «Well, you will not find everything online.» At that point, I wanted to see a manager, but my boyfriend told me to let this incident go because they probably have rude managers. The Costco off of Research Blvd in north Austin has friendlier staff. Everyone has a smile on their face and are way perkier than the Costco associates and managers off of William Cannon Dr. I believe that the north Austin Costco has way better management. I will only shop at the north Austin location, and I only recommend shopping at this Costco if you are in Austin. Remember, the member is always right, but not according to the Costco in south Austin.

It’s an ok Costco, as Costcos go, but I really wish the food court would stop giving my pizza away to someone else. Twice now this has happened. Since I order two pizzas, the one they don’t accidentally give away sits and gets cold while they start a new one to replace my missing one. And my frozen stuff melts…

First time at this location. Executive member. Disappointing. Normal shopping ok. Atmosphere of confusion. Not crowded. Snack bar disaster. Understaffed no basic hot dogs ready. Condiments empty. No napkins Again my only bad Costco experience. Maybe a one time disappointing experience. Note. Before the post manager notified of issues. Offered to return. No show. Maybe the leadership is a concern Update. The manager did return. Offer a sincere apology. Explain my experience. Fortunately no excuses was offered. Appreciated me noticing Señor staff. Adjustments will be implemented

Much better than the other two big chains(but I refuse to go to those now anyway). Of the COSTCO stores in town, it is the one I prefer. I got flowers for the Lady and a couple of bottles of wine and headed out. They do not carry the hard booze I like so I went across the street to Twin Liquors. One thing I have noticed in this store is the people seem much friendlier than the other stores. Sadly, they know my wife by name as she often goes here to help put us in the Poor House. However, she has always had good luck in having people carry her heavier items. It can get busy at peak times and before a big football game, so I suggest another time to shop. Not bad today. Lots of people, but no one in a rush(it is South Austin).

Love this place! Wish they would stop moving stuff around all of the time. Great selection of organic, free range and wild food stuff. Staff usually able to help find items quickly.

I absolutely love going to Costco. I will go to Costco with a list of items to buy, but always come out with way more than originally planned — I take that as a good thing since they always have good deals going on. Walking through each aisle and checking out the products is an adventure in itself. AND of course the food sampling… They do not skimp out on any sample sizes :) and they give out a lot of samples(more samples on weekends). One time, I got a whole slice of cheesecake wrapped in a paper towel. That was definitely interesting!

My only complaint with pretty much every Costco I have gone to nationwide is that parking is most likely going to be an absolute pain… this Costco surprisingly is NOT! And it shares a parking lot with Whole Foods. So basically if I were starring in an episode of Under the Dome, I would want to be trapped right here. So big pros — good parking, good selection of items, and it never seems OVERLY crowded. This location always seems much less crowded than the North location. Cons — well I’m a Cali girl so the fact that they don’t sell liquor inside Costco itself is more of a con with Texas as a whole, buttt it is convenient that they have liquor right out front. Also, there’s no car wash which I think is another thing that they just don’t do in Texas at all. So basically my only cons regard the state of Texas, not this Costco location. I love you Texas, but I miss me some of my Costco delicacies sometimes.

This past month I visited this location and I was looking for Salmon. I encountered a rude, incompetent, and scatterbrained lady named Michaela Rodriguez who did not even look me in the eye and answer my question for the location of the Salmon as she was too distracted with her phone. I was able to eventually find my salmon by asking another customer for directions. I was disappointed with the staff, especially this lady.
