I called this office to ask if they treat patients with a certain condition. After leaving a message for this doctor’s medical assistant, and getting a call back the next day at 7:45am, which I could not answer. The message said, «Of course, Dr. Lubin would need to see your medical records and evaluate you in order to determine if he can treat you.» This is useless information to a potential new patient. All I asked is if he has treated patients with three specific conditions. So I called back and asked the operator the same question. She then proceeds to call the same medical assistant who repeated the same information. I guess they don’t seem to care, or much less understand, or respect their patients time as well, as I was told I need to come in for an appointment. No thank you, for a potentially unnecessary medical co-pay, gas, parking and a babysitter. See ya Dr. Lubin. I’ll find a doctor who cares. You should find medical staff that cares.

Dr Lubin was a very negative Dr and told me I did not have much time to live in 1993 And found a great Dr after seeing him. His office and bathrooms were dirty and stafff unprofessional too. Dr Lubin is also to busy to care for you– find another Dr if you are seriously sick! Dr Alam is compassionate Dr and also the ACOM or chinese medicines saved my life! Don’t see Dr Lubin — period!

Dr. Lubin is a gastroenterologist, and his specialty/interest seems to be Celiac disease.(An autoimmune disorder triggered by the ingestion of gluten causing problems starting in the small intestine.) I was refered to him by my primary care phyisican after some unusual bloodwork. I was scheduled very quickly for my first appointment, where I saw both Dr. Lubin and his physician’s assistant. He felt like it was very likely I had celiac disease and the office scheduled me for a follow up biopsy just the next week; they would have done it the next day, but I couldn’t get it sorted out with my employer that quickly. I was amazed at how quickly Dr. Lubin and his staff worked towards diagnosing me. After a positive diagnosis they set up a time to educate me on the illness and really gave me a good start. I know many people in the Austin area use Dr. Lubin for celiac and other unusal gut related problems and he comes highly recommended. A++

Best gastroenterologist in town. He figured out what was wrong with me when several doctors in a period of 4 years either brushed me off or thought I was deluded. I owe him my quality of life and health. Definitely worth the wait if you’ve got a medical mystery on your hands
