Csilla’s store is awesome. I discovered her store because my daughter interned here. I can tell you that my daughter learned so much about her degree here. If you want the opportunity to actually be allowed to practice your craft, you will be able to do it with Csilla. My daughter’s sewing was honed. Her cutting and pattern making also improved. She sold clothes to walk in customers. This is a great internship if you want to get a behind the scene look at running a small business. I’m sorry the other intern had a negative experience but it was a great experience for my daughter.
I would definitely shop here too. The clothes are cut to fit a woman’s body and make it look good. Csilla’s style is sexy, hip, and classy. And this is a locally owned business. I wish more people knew about her store because I’m sure running a locally run business such as this can be challenging.

Csilla’s designs have become an icon on Congress. Her nonchalant mannequins stand outfitted on the downtown sidewalk with unique and high quality, hand crafted designs throughout each season. She makes summer dresses and maxi skirts with a beautiful swing to them. The store hosts hand made styles for work wear and jewelry by local artists. Csilla definitely knows how to run a fashion business — every year she does a classy collection of holiday party/​cocktail styles. She’s pretty much non-​stop shop, with new styles coming out all year round from Csilla’s own design label. There are sales if you just want to come in and pick something up. The materials and cuts are very flattering, and the staff will help you pick out a good fit for your shape. I’m a huge fan of comfort but I’m not trying to look frumpy — you can dress many of these styles up with heels, or down with a pair of summer sandals. They also host some fashion events and really good live music there, which is pretty unique. Csilla is a down tempo Austin original! A must for locals and visitors alike.

Jewelry, scarves, and handbags created by local artisans and artisans hand-​picked by Csilla on her journeys. Their personalized attention to their customers is top-​notch. Love love love this boutique. I live in Brooklyn but when I’m in Austin I stop in and always find flattering and unique dresses. High quality material and great designs. I’m not skinny but her clothes cover in all the right places and are very flattering. Also great local jewlery, t shirts, clutches etc. If you’re in Austin definitely worth a trip to Csilla’ store. Owner, designer is lovely and very helpful at finding clothes that fit just right.
Bonus — I needed a dress hemmed and they did at no charge in time to wear out.

On one of walks during my lunch hour, I stopped at Csilla Somogyi Boutique. I was amazed of all the beautiful dresses and jewelry. I bought a beautiful red stone necklace and I ‘ll be back for another piece. The owner was very nice and very helpful. I recommend you stop by the boutique and see all great things in there!

LOVE the designs! This boutique has such unique use of prints! I also love the cuts and silhouettes of the garments. You can feel comfortable while also feeling AMAZING and sexy! Highly recommended, especially if you want something unique! She also has gorgeous jewelry.

I didn’t really know what price range to select, as it is pricey if you compare to department stores, but not pricey for what you get — custom made couture with personal service and alterations included.

We were in Austin for a conference last fall, and while walking around came across Csilla’s shop. What a gem! We went back a few times and both times, people from another convention were also back in the shop! I ended up buying several items, one of them is a dress that Csilla made especially for me! I loved a specific style and fabric that she did not have in my size and she created it a day so I could take it home with me! If that is not enough, she delivered it to my hotel and wrote me a postcard to see if I was enjoying my dress. I wish I could shop at Csilla Wear more often — great style, beautiful designs and a wonderful person!

Great place, friendly people, and distinctive work. I’m a designer and I can appreciate the style, color choices, and thought in these garments.
I pass by this place on my way to work and it’s funny to see people’s heads turn all the time as they pass the windows. My coworkers and I used to joke about how the space was cursed because NO ONE ever went into the place before Csilla Wear arrived. Now there’s always someone in there.
My girlfriend loves this place too. And although I’m not partial to dresses, they have some very cool t-​shirts, ceramic dishes, and jewelry too.

Csilla Wear is a local GEM! Csilla is an absolute sweetheart! The staff are very friendly and attentive. Csilla designs and sews her clothing in house, on site. Her designs are fresh and fun, made from high quality fabrics. She also carries a selection of locally made jewelry and accessories! I drop by at least once a month and there are alway new and fresh looks to be had!

I love this shop, and its owner. I’ve been shopping at Csilla Wear for over a year now, and I LOVE everything I’ve purchased there – dresses, tops, silk scarfs, and jewelry made by local Austin artists. Every time I wear something from her store, I get complimented on it, the pieces are very unique. I’ve also gotten a lot of gifts for friends – most of the jewelry there is ~$ 20 — $ 80, I think.
All of the clothing is designed by Csilla, the store owner, and all of her pieces are handmade. Csilla is usually in the store when I visit, and she and her staff are always really sweet. I’ll be going back this month to get some more Christmas presents (and maybe a dress for NYE!) :)

I love Csilla Wear! My first purchases were two tops and a dress that I purchased prior to her moving into her beautiful shop. I was so excited when she moved in and now I’ve been able to purchase more and more. Her clothing is handmade and beautiful! She and her staff are always available to help you out without any pressure whatsoever, but with great suggestions when you need it. I can’t wait until my next visit which will be this week!

Csilla Wear is an amazing boutique in downtown Austin. Csilla designs her dresses and sews them in her shop, making the local shopping experience so wonderful! If you are a petite woman, you’ll love how her designs fit. She has great taste and spent a lot of time helping me choose just the right dresses for me. She is a wonderful person to do business with!
