Terrible business owners. The place is run by an inexperienced 21 year old little kid. Over-priced, unorganized & rude management.

Avoid running into David Deschodt at any cost. This guy thinks since he is VP of the place he owns the parking lot, he totaled my friends brand new car while whipping full speed around the back alley, and not only was he oblivious & texting during the accident but he didn’t take any responsibility and laughed about it. This guy ruined a families stability and claims to be in a managerial position, he is almost laughable. All in all, this place is run by an ego maniac, has a small selection and is way overpriced. Better off going to Fresh-plus or Whole Foods

Super friendly and super good! This is the place to come refresh after a long river paddling session. The smoothie I had hit the spot, called the Goddess, but the juices steal the show here! The lotus, fresh and simple, and the cashew milk were my favs. The worker gave me some free samples and of course I had to buy after tasting bc they were tasty and refreshing. They have food options too and picnic tables. It’s located right on the frontage road, parking was easy, and overall I am very happy to have tried them out. You should too!

First time in Austin ordering from a Food Truck And I was standing there patiently waiting and the woman snidely comments that my drink isnt ready yet and If I could move. Acting so snotty. I asked for the refund and I paid cash but it was to difficult for them to do. They didnt know how to work their high-tech cash register. I lost my appetite from what I ordered.

I have tried skinny limits juices before and I really like them! I recently picked up a coupon for buy one get one free on their meals, so I decided to stop at this trailer on my way to work and pick up some lunches and get a juice for breakfast while there. First of all, the juice fridge was EMPTY except for lemonades. Isn’t that the core of your business? For it to be empty at 7:30 on a Tuesday morning was not a good thing. Second, the meal selection in their fridge was lacking, I had already looked online and picked out some meals that I would like to get and they didnt have them. I settled on 2 of the ones that they did have and I can say they were both pretty flavorless and disappointing. Next time, I’ll be sure to stop by a Skinny Limits storefront for my juices.

It shouldnt take you 15 minutes to get a juice everytime I go im this place there is always people waiting and one employee. Since all of the product is made fresh maybe it would be wise to hire on more people especially during lunch hour Im posting this at 12:40 on a friday

Okay, let’s face it. Skinny Limits is not cheap. At $ 8.50 a juice, even at $ 3 off for a same-day special, it’s a high-end beverage. However, this place is solid. Jazmin was the bees-knees in offering samples and making us happy. She is what makes Austin such a wonderful place to live. My friend was so jubilant she stopped herself in mid-payment to embrace me. We ordered a Lotus(a beets-ginger concoction) and a Namaste, a protein version of liquid pie crust. The flavor was delicious, well-balanced and refreshing. Much of that cost, I gather, is the assurance of freshness, cold-press as well as organic: you aren’t exposing yourself to pesticides and harmful chemicals which have long term toxic effects upon your health. Most of us will save up for this treat, and you can think of it as an investment: a wonderful way for friends to reconnect.

Wish they had a store super north– like rr/gt/cp area! I would stop here EVERYDAY!!! They will soon have a big store burnet/183– yay! Will also have breakfast/lunch options! This was my first time here– they were so flexible and was able to make a juice exactly how I wanted. I like more greens stuff less apples. I got the Balance with a little tweet! Was delicious and filling!!! There are so many choices with ‘made to order’ fresh juice OR they have bottles ready to go! I love the fact that they provide REALFOOD options and not the processed stuff we see everywhere. They owner and employees were so kind and knowledgable — it was a pleasure just visiting for a few minutes during my busy day!!!

I got hooked on this place when my hairdresser told me about their juices. I tried their juice and could immediately tell the difference between them and other juice bars. The cold pressed process comes through I. The flavor of the juice. I was soooooo thrilled I did a 4 day juice cleanse which turned into a six day cleanse and I have been stalking this truck ever since!

The only reason I give it 4 stars is the locations, you need one somewhere on William Cannon and Mopac, Pronto! I did a 3 day juice cleanse and it wasn’t that bad for someone who doesn’t do this sort of thing. I am a meat eater and by far the worst at eating anything before 10am. I never felt hungry, and yes you can eat raw veggies in times of weakness, but I managed through it and have not eaten bread and have almost eliminated my carbonated sodas from my eating habits. I can’t wait for my next cleanse, just get closer!

I have been to ALL of the juice/smoothie places in Austin and this one takes the cake! Not only is it pretty much guaranteed that any menu option you choose will taste great(unlike other places) but I have become a regular because of the awesome service. Lia is who I usually try to catch. She is there(lake Austin location) most of the time. She is AWESOME– knows my name and starts preparing my regular drink I get every time before I even hit the counter. I feel like I have made a new friend :-). I get the dragonfly sub peanut butter for the protein powder and it is DELISH! You really can’t go wrong at this place! It’s a must go!

Look, I’d give this place 4.5 stars if possible, but I can’t round up to 5 stars without perfection. That being said, the Weller at Skinny Limits was pretty delicious. Generally, I equate really healthy things with really bad tasting things, but this was definitely an exception. I could really taste each of the fruits in the smoothie and it was quite pleasant. Basically, a surprisingly pleasant taste for a really healthy drink — not enough to warrant a 5 stars. It was a little busy when I got there, but the staff was nice enough to upgrade my drink size because of the long wait. 219 points awarded for that!

Absolutely delicious smoothies(I got The Weller with whey protein and my friend got the Downward dog). My smoothie was so clean, refreshing, tasty and light! I tried the Downward dog and was amazed that something so delectable could be healthy! Our experience was made even better by the help of Nick! He was very kind, informative and helpful! I absolutely recommend giving this place a try!

The juice was awesome. Tastes really fresh and clean. Julia and Leah were awesome to us as well, and based on their excellent service, I would definitely be a regular if I resided closer to the establishment. Nothing but excellence. Cheers.

I’m pretty knowledgable when it comes to juicing and smoothies, since I make own all the time. I forgot to make one, and so I went to Skinny Limits for the first time this past week. —ITWASAWESOME —!!! I tried the Goddess(with coconut water) and it was not just yummy, but RIDICULOUSLYDELICIOUS. The staff is super friendly and will navigate you through it if you’re not familiar with juices and veggie smoothies …

This place is a couple of blocks from my office so I decided to give it a try for a mid-day snack instead of my usual coke & candy bar. I’ve never been to a real juice shop so wasn’t really sure what to expect or what to order. The woman who helped me was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about juices. She explained to me how the juices were made and what the ingredients were. I was even given several free shot size samples to try — and to be honest I was totally shocked & surprised at how good they all tasted. I settled on purchasing the«balance 2» green juice. I just finished drinking it at my office; the taste was excellent and it completely satisfied my mid day snack carving. I was also give a $ 1 discount card for my next visit so I will definitely be back again soon. Seriously thinking about doing the 1 or 3 day juice cleanse she told me about.

Skinny Limits was first recommended to m eby a buy one, get one free coupon on Facebook. As a weekly trail runner, I was very excited to try out the new smoothie stand. They no longer had the Facebook promo going, but honored a similar promo on Foursquare with ease. Below are highlighted points that made the visit worthwhile and my dedicated Saturday, post-long run spot: 1) As an avid fan of the build your own smoothies at Whole foods, I never thought I would find a similar menu elsewhere that matched prices and ingredients. Juiceland seems to lack as many choices and the prices for boosts tend to be higher. For a small 16oz protein smoothie, which is the perfect size post workout, it’s runs exactly $ 6.25 with tax while including your choice of protein. Whole foods has boosts and proteins at an additonal $.50 or $ 1, so for the same drink you end up spending $ 6.50-$ 7. Of course you have to pay an additional $ 1 for extra protein, but most of the menu and build your own smoothie includes these options already. 2) I was impressed by the selection of proteins. Hemp and whey are pretty standard, but not only did they have options for pea, brown rice, and sun warrior, but the girls in the truck offered extensive knowledge regarding the differences of the proteins based on what I was looking for. Example: I had whey protein at whole foods before and it puffed up my smoothie an additioanl 1⁄3 of the original size because it’s so airy, making it weird to digest. It was great to hear they have experienced it as well, and that hemp would be a rather equal supplement. 3) The customer service was outstanding. Such places make me nervous because it’s like the starbucks line for juice fantatics, but they were very helpful and had nutritional input that assisted in narrowing down an expansive menus. 4) As a fellow Lady bird Trail runner, it was easy to find located outside the pawn shop at Lake Austin Blvd and Mopac, at the crest of the hill where runners park for training on the lake. There were no sketchy loiterers that generally hang out around pawn shops, and the location was much easier to find and get to than Juiceland, which is hidden behind the Veterans park. 5) I purchased the Bridge and the Goddess, both with hemp protein. The Bridge was absolutely delicious, I wish I had purchased two. The tastes were perfectly blended and the Goddess smoothie had a rather pleasant green matcha taste, except not chalky. I saved the Goddess for my post run the following day, and it held up perfectly fine in the fridge. No separation, no sour taste or lack of flavor. 6) As a runner, I had the 16oz bridge after an 11 mile run and I felt perfectly satisifed. The protein helped my mucles recover and walking up stairs later that day didn’t bring the leg rebellion it normally does. I fully recommend trying this brightly colored truck out, it is not too far of a walk from your parked car.

If they weren’t sold out of two of the three raw meals, I’d be giving them a 5. Ok, I’ll give them a 5! How many plant based options do we have in his city? Not enough! So when a fantastic juicing company decides to place a trailer almost on my side of town, I want to help make it a success! I love the Facebook coupons they have been running to increase awareness and I don’t mind taking advantage of them. I have done two cleanses through their main store(up on far west) and guess what I just found out: you can pick up your cleanse down here if you give them a day’s notice! Now I really have no reason to ever go north in this city again! I hope this place thrives, so come try some amazing juices and substitute a meal or snack with this fantastic plant-based goodness. I guarantee your body will thank you and you will feel the difference!
