I was referred to Dr. Schade by my oral surgeron. I found Dr. Schade and his complete staff to be knowledgeble, trusthworthy and very professional. I woiuld highly recommend this office to anyone looking for dental care.

Love this dentist. Not pushy, everybody’s nice, quality work. I agree with the other reviewer that he’s the best dentist in town. Good touch. I’ve had several major issues (for me) and I’ve always been happy with the result-​price wise, quality and level of discomfort. Sometimes I’ve had to wait which I’ve disliked as patience has never been my strong suit. I’ve ended up at other dentists due to changing insurance but have not been happy.

Dr. Schade is the best Dentist in Austin. He is very gentle, caring, and downright cool. His hard work, timely work, and great job will make you appreciate spending your time in the chair. The price is fair, and the quality is superb. I highly recommend heading here if your mouth is bothering you, or just for routine maintenance.

I went to Dr. Schade’s office after a 5 year lapse of good dentistry because I lived abroad.
The person I spoke with on the phone was happy to call my insurance company to make sure everything would be covered, which made things easy for me. I very much appreciated this.
I arrived a little early because I was a new patient and knew there would be paperwork. As expected, I was called back for my cleaning about 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment time.
The hygienist was very nice.
She took a TON of X-​rays which I thought seemed completely unnecessary. It also hurt. A lot. I have a super high pain tolerance, but wow… Plastic things crammed into my mouth? Thirty times? Ugh. Apparently dentists do this every 5 years, but I’ve never had this done before. If presented with this again in 5 years (or ever), I will elect not to have X-​rays taken (besides the quick side shots, that’s easy and fine). To put this in perspective:
I got hit by a car a few months ago and got a compound fracture to my wrist. These X-​rays were more painful than that. Temporary pain, so definitely better than breaking a bone, but still very ick.
She did a thorough job cleaning. Basic stuff.
The one odd thing was, I never saw Dr. Schade. A different dentist (I think he was a dentist?) came in to do my final exam. I thought that was a little strange, but he was professional. I just think I should’ve been advised that I’d see a different doctor (which was completely fine with me, just unexpected). I chose Dr. Schade based on location and Unilocal reviews about his demeanor and professionalism, but I never met the guy.
Will go back if it’s convenient. I like the other reviews about pricing, so if I needed something special done, that’s not covered by my insurance, I might go out of my way to go back here. For a basic cleaning though, I’ll go back if I’m still living in the area, but wouldn’t go out of my way.

I absolutely hate going to a dentist but going to see Dr. Schade makes my experience visiting so worthwhile. This man is amazing and so down to earth and tells you like it is. His staff are a class act and so personable to me and I’m sure they are the same to their other patients too. Just an overall great experience everytime I go when I need something done. I took my mother to Dr. Schade for a new complete set of dentures to replace a very poorly made first set. The entire staff is top notch, ultra professional and a pleasure to work with. They are truly ‘old school’ in their efforts to perfect the fit and also give the patient a set that looks like them. I brought in some old pictures and they used these to customize the set to her face. Their goal is to have the dentures fit and work without adhesive.
Dr Schade has his own in-​house lab and technician and most of the staff has been there over 10 years. It’s a tight knit office and they seem to genuinely enjoy restoring people’s lives.
Only downside is that it took multiple trial fittings, trying different sized teeth and aligning to her face to get it right, but do it. It’s worth your extra effort to make them the best they can be.
Not only were they the best fitting dentures, they were very competitively priced. Do the research online, and then make some phone calls. You’ll end up at Dr. Schade’s too.,

I like Dr. Schade because he does not try to rip you off like some dentists. He tells you only what you really need and gives you options without talking down to you so you can decide what’s best for you. The cleanings are not rushed and they don’t try to push you into expensive deep cleanings like some offices I’ve been to, but i’m sure they recommend it if you really need it. Dr Schade also speaks Spanish fluently and some of his staff do also. I think if someone gets a dubious high cost estimate from another office they should go to Dr Schade for a second opinion.

I went to Advanced Denture Center to get a cracked partial repaired. The repair was done quickly, but when I got it back it didn’t fit. After arguing with the lab tech for an hour, with her telling me that it did fit, and me telling her that it didn’t fit and that it hurt, I said I’d try it for a couple of days to see if I could get used to it. Now, a few days later, I’m in pain, my gums are swollen, and they refused to fix the fit problem. While they did refund my money, I’m extremely unhappy with the work that was done, and would suggest to anyone looking for a repair to try somewhere else. I believe that it is professionally unethical to refuse to even attempt to fix it, leaving me in pain and unable to eat.

I love Dr. Schade he is an honest and very reasonable prices I canceled my dental insurance and to my surprise he is so good in the price that I really wonder should sign back up, he will be honest and not try to bilk you, tell you what needs to be done with no nonesense he is down to earth, if and when I sign up for the state insurance he is not on it I will just pay because I like his bedside, Ifeel no pain he saw me on an emergency, I have never got in that quick and he is on ³⁹¹⁄₂ please consider him when your looking for a honest and great dentist you will not regret it,

Dr. Schade = Dr. Painless. Really. I’m the original weenie when it comes to mouth pain (probably the reason I needed so much work) and the Doc was great. A combo of a little gas (ahhh), a little topical, some ear candy (something soothing), and a technique he calls active distraction (tug, tug, tug on that lower lip — tap, tap, tap on the back of that hand) and that BIG bad needle barely registered. Who knew it could be like this. Anyway… six crowns, one root canal, and mucho $$$ later I have one beautiful mouth. Gorgeous work and terrific experience. The office will really work with you to accomodate your schedule (had no problem getting me in to meet insurance end of year deadlines — even worked New Year’s Eve!), and to ensure you are completely happy with the work. The only thing that could have raised this to five stars was if the fees were more in line with my insurance coverage and my out of pocket less. That and an egg in my beer.
