NEVER, EVERUSETHESEAMATEURS! The traditional 15th anniversary gift is engraved crystal. I bought a beautiful Waterford Crystal vase(think hundreds of dollars) and took it to them for engraving. They looked at the vase and had no issues with it, said it would work fine and that it would be beautiful. This is 2 days before my anniversary. Went through the process to approve proofs and was ready to pay the rush fee so that I could have it before the date. At about 5:00 pm that evening I get a docusign email saying they needed it. Basically its a waiver releasing them from all liability. This made me nervous because I was picking it up the next morning. I signed the document in the morning before picking up the vase to ensure there were no delays.(huge mistake on my part) When I went to pick it up the owner came out and said he had bad news. The engraving effectively ruined the vase. It was blurred, mis-centered and just horrible. He said it actually fell off their engraving machine TWICE! The owner asked what he could do(remember this is about 18 hours before I was going to give the gift). I told him to start, he could replace the vase. He said he couldn’t do that but generously offered free engraving! Basically nothing. So now, I’m out the cost of the vase, I have a few hours to find something appropriate for my wife and I’m frustrated. Save yourself my fate and find someone else to do your important engraving. Oh, and when I posted my issue on their FB page, they deleted the comment. And, here’s the topper… they have their own employees rating their business. Work with companies who are ethical and who you can trust! Latest update… after I posted this review they went to their Facebook page and solicited good reviews. Notice the timing of the reviews after mine. On their website they say«We stand behind our products and are committed to customer satisfaction». All it would take for me to be satisfied is some sort of real gesture to remedy their mistakes. So far all I’ve seen is attempts to hide their mistake and misrepresent their business.
