Dr Clayton Hamilton, DDS

The best dentist I’ve ever been to, hands down. His staff is wonderful too.

I visited Dr. Hamilton today to repair a filing that had broken, after several unsatisfactory years with another dentist. Dr. Hamilton’s approach to patients is to communicate well what will need to be done, skillfully do the work, and generally make you feel comfortable and appreciated as a patient. His staff is equally warm and friendly.
No fancy office here, but I highly recommend this dentist.

I have gone to Dr. Hamilton since 1996. He is wonderful in every way. The dentist in VA where I am temporarily living for work said I needed a $ 5 – 6,000. implant on my lost crown. Dr. Hamilton fixed it for $ 500. with no surgery needless to say! He is THE MAN.

I’ve been going to Dr Hamilton for over 14 years and cannot think of one negative. The best example is when I had a very bad infection crop up in one of my teeth. It was Sunday and I was in horrible pain. I called the office number and the recording gave me an after hours number to call. I called expecting a messaging service. Instead it was Dr. Hamilton’s personal number. Wow, what a surprise. Great staff also.

After going to (what I have now realized is) a rip-​off dentist in Westlake –Dr. Matthew Horne, DDS –my parents suggested I get a second opinion and head over to see their dentist, Dr. Hamilton. He has taken fantastic care of me, resolved all my issues, and squeezed me in under emergency situations (multiple times). He cares a lot about his patients, explains the procedures to make you more comfortable, and is empathetic and kind. Most importantly, he is honest, and isn’t trying to scam you for every last penny! I had received an estimate from the Westlake dentist that was going to cost me approximately eight thousand dollars out of pocket, which was going to be a huge financial burden on me, so I went for the second opinion with Dr. Hamilton. Without really even knowing about my previous estimate or experience, he set up a treatment that would allow my insurance to cover almost everything, and didn’t add the unnecessary treatments and add-​ons that my previous dentist had tacked on ($ 40 tooth brushing instruction… that was just the tip of the iceburg). I can’t really say enough about how much I appreciate his excellent care, and I am so glad I went for the second opinion. His staff is so sweet and wonderful too!
