Dr. Godhania, DPM

First impressions are important… but when we’re talking about a doctor, results are even more important. Still more so, in my opinion, when we’re talking about feet (or teeth!)
After attempting to self-​treat several foot conditions, for way too long, I finally gave in and made an appointment with Dr. Godhania. Dr. Godhania gave sage advice for all of the issues I brought up, and what was suggested has brought welcome relief for my conditions. Cure is hopefully imminent.
I highly recommend him as a doctor… but he is also a good human being: compassionate, helpful and with a good sense of humor.

In my opinion, Dr. Godhania is an excellent Podiatrist.
He is not only concerned about his patients but is also practical. Both of my kids have feet that are flat with pronation, which tends to cause them pains in various places. Of course, he prescribed orthotics for both of my children to help alleviate their pain and help with heir alignment. The other podiatrist I had taken them to, wanted both of them to have x-​rays, ultra-​sounds and very expensive orthotics made. I’m glad I went to Dr. Godhania for a second opinion, not only did I save a great deal of money, and avoid unnecessary treatments, but my kids have happy feet and ankles now.

LOVE Doc Godanhia! He’s very friendly and personable and great at explaining what’s going on.

He may treat the average patient just fine, but I had an infection after surgery and it was, of course, on a Friday early afternoon. My daughter called his office and carefully explained the seriousness of my case. I could not be seen till Monday By Monday my infection required me to go through wound care for several weeks. I could have lost my foot. I don’t trust him to go the extra distance.

Excellent doctor. Caring and comprehensive. Finally a doctor that has enabled me to get back on my feet.

Dr. Godhania is a cool dude. He’s pretty knowledgeable about the inner workings of feet. It might have something to do with being a podiatrist — but that is neither here nor there.
I went to Dr. G after an atrocious experience at the Center for Foot & Ankle Surgery. He took me in after I was refused treatment (because I’d criticized the podiatrist there (oops)) and figured out the real reason I was a’hurtin’. He helped me devise a way to wear a normal shoe on my birthday, after which I had to get back in the damn boot I needed to wear. Again. Because my previous podiatrist was the evil.
All visits have been prompt and friendly. I sometimes come in with a bulleted list of questions and he merrily addresses them all. And if I’m lucky, I might even be updating with a review on his surgical prowess. Rawr.

Feets don’t fail me now! When your dogs hurt, your whole life can suffer. No jumping jacks, no jump lunges, no stairmasters, no dancing in high heels. Oh, wait, only one of those sux to be without. Still, sometimes just walking around can be painful, and even tho I do enjoy laying about with my feet up, it can make you cranky to have work all day on your ouchy feet.
So, thanks to Dej (who is in my shoes, so to speak), I checked out Dr Godhania yesterday. One thing I have learned firsthand is, when you are searching for a doctor, don’t pick one based on name alone. I thought my last guy would really be able to sympathize with me as his name was Dr Payne. Wrong, wrong, wrong. He spent months on me and made me some «custom orthotics» that did not address my issues at all (he thought I had bunions, the catchall diagnosis for toe pain).
Dr Godhania on the other hand (foot), did a little mashing around (ouch!) and some x-​rays and nailed my diagnosis, sesamoiditis. Great! I already knew that as I have the internet. He was very straightforward about the treatment options, very explanatory about my films, and very encouraging about my future in exercising. He has sent me on to get yet another set of custom orthotics made, but he swears these will be the be all, end all of, well, them all.
So I am reserving a star for future results. I really, really hope he gets that 5^th star!
