EcoFirst was just bought out by Terminix who will also be getting this review. Here is the email I just sent:
You guys are fired.
Seriously, the guy cancels on Monday. Reschedules for Thursday and doesn’t show up and fails to answer his phone. I’m a freaking Tax Accountant, in the middle of January and you pull me out of work, twice, for nothing.
What is your problem? Seriously, cancel my contract, cancel everything. Immediately

I have to echo many of the other complaints on here, but primarily the one about the bugs not going away. Every time I call to complain about the bugs still being there, I have been given a different answer… first it was due to the drought, then it was due to the rain… which is it? Now I am being charged a fee because we are moving out of state, and I was given a signup fee of $ 0. Oh, and even though I paid for the quarter already, they will not prorate it for me either… instead, I pay for a full quarter of service (using only 1 of the 3 months), AND have to pay a fee to stop using them (even though their service NEVER works). Save your money, and either not use them, or use someone else… trust me, it can’t be any worse.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS OUTFIT. I would give a zero if possible. Salesman Jesse showed up on my doorstep at the end of April. I talked to him about mosquitos as my first concern and then ants outside. I paid the «teaser fee» for the first treatment and was told they would treat again in 30 days and every quarter after that. I had to call in three weeks because there was no change in the bugs. I agreed to let them come on the 30 day mark. Rather than be charged in 90 days, I was charged again after 30! A misrepresented, hand written addition that says only «1^st Qtr.» at the bottom of the welcome letter gave them the right to charge me they say.
Called again in a few weeks — still had mosquitos and ants. 3^rd treatment — no change. Called ⁴⁄₂₁ to cancel and get refund, was assured branch manager (Ryan, I think) would call me right back — I would be at the top of his list. No call. Called back today ⁷⁄₂₅ for him and got a call back from him. He offered to treat again for ants with a «special product» — where was that 3 trips ago — and said they had nothing for mosquitos!!! Where was that info from day one? They misrepresent their product and it doesn’t work. I am fighting to get my $ 181.86 back from these crooks who have told me they are new to Austin and trying to build their business. I am warning my HOA and the BBB about them. You would do well to find someone else.

Would give a ZERO if I could. A representative Trey knocked on our door at 9 pm on a Wednesday night! He had our 3 dogs barking wildly & rang the doorbell, so he also woke our baby! We told him we don’t have any pest problems, & proceeded to comment that it’s pretty late, so you woke our baby. When he started to walk away & mumbled «good», my husband became really upset & asked for his name & supervisor’s number. Of course, he said his phone just died, so he did not have the number. Like he doesn’t know his supervisors number. We asked for some literature, but there was no number there either. I will be calling to file a complaint with the Austin office first thing in the am. RIDICULOUS!

These jerks came by our house and knocked on our door at 9pm. They ignored the no soliciting sign and woke up the baby. Not a very good way to get customers or build confidence in a business.
