Took my kiddos here a few weeks ago and we had a blast. It is probably one of the best pools we have ever been to, and we do pool hop quite often. The lifeguards are very attentive, nice, and I actually feel safe if I turn my back for just a moment. They have three diving boards. Too low boards. 1 high board. The high board is in the middle of the two low boards. There is ample room for jumping flipping and swimming around without the fear of hitting someone or hitting the side of the pool, like another one we just visited recently. The kitty section is very nice. And it’s not just for tiny tots either. My 5 year old had a blast over there. No balls or pool toys are allowed in this particular section. The slide is great and there’s lots of water coming at you in many different directions. Enough to keep the kids entertained for a good little while. The larger pool is equipped with two basketball goals one in the three foot and one in four foot. The slope is gradual so it’s not a drop off like some pools are. Which is also nice and helpful. The area for playing ball is mostly roped off. There are plenty of tables spread throughout the area. The restrooms are small, but nice, and clean. Which I appreciate. They offer life jackets and I believe I saw boogie boards for those who need them. They are open year round. Admission for adults is $ 5 each. Children, I believe, 12 and under are $ 3 each. Not sure about the others. All in all a very wonderful pool. The whole family enjoyed it a great deal. We will absolutely be back. The location is great. It’s tucked away in a nice little neighborhood in a nice part of Northwest Austin.

This place is great! There is a lap pool, a fitness center and a nice kiddie pool /splash pad for kids! There are long chairs/umbrellas, and plenty of shaded areas. I went with two year old and she loved it. We also were able to bring our own food and eat it on a picnic table(near the pool)! The area is clean! I’m taking away a star because the staff isn’t friendly(no thank yous, no smiles etc).

Had tonnes of fun here on the diving boards, it wasn’t too busy for a hot Sunday afternoon and the staff were real friendly. Will definitely be back!

I went to this pool to hang out with a friend and her daughter and have a picnic. This place is impressive and not overly crowded! You are allowed to bring in your own food and drink and I even saw someone receive a pizza delivery! It’s $ 5.00 for adults and $ 2.00 for kids at the entry and it’s definitely worth it. They have 2 pools, one that is L shaped with a shallow area for kids, two lap lanes and a large portion with 2 low diving boards and a high dive. The smaller circular pool is for toddlers and small children. Part pool, part playground and part splash park. How could you go wrong? There are also a large number of chairs and sun lounging chairs! They have nice big umbrellas that you can sit under as well as small umbrellas over picnic tables! They have life jackets for children who can’t swim and also an ample supply of noodles for everyone at no extra cost! There is also a fitness facility, bathrooms with indoor showers and outdoor showers. The water in the large L shaped pool was nice and warm but, the kiddy pool was a little cold. I think it’s because it’s constantly circulating but, it felt really good on this day when it was 100 degrees!

In an age where lawyers have convinced most community pools to remove their high diving boards for fear of injuries and litigation… It’s nice to see that el salido still has their High Dive. They get 5 stars from me for that. Get out there and check it out people.
