This lady is the best! I met with her for a number of months to discuss past history and relationships and she really was able to open my eyes to a lot of things I’d never seen. She is super nice, very competent and intelligent and totally devoted to getting to the issue you may have. In fact, after leaving her I realized I knew almost nothing about her because she would constantly illicit info from me, keeping our discussions focused and productive. I honestly didn’t realize how valuable Dr. DLS was until I began discussions with a different therapist(different issues, near my home) and was horrified to see that I had made a mistake not going to see Dr. DLS. But that’s a whole other story… Some tips on what good therapists do: –They take notes. –They don’t incessantly promote themselves or special classes they teach(which can be expensive). –They listen and ask questions. –They offer real solutions, possibly even homework. –They don’t end therapy sessions early! Many people have the perception that therapy is for people with severe problems and that«normal» folks don’t need it. Many, many people I know would benefit from speaking with a good therapist but refuse to do so out of pride. Don’t let pride get in the way of your personal growth! Check out her website/blog:
