I am 30, and I’ve had to see chiropractors off and on since I was 12. I have been an athlete almost all my life, and I’ve been pretty hard on my back. With that said, Dr. Estes is the best I have worked with when I was living in Austin. He didn’t just«crack» my back — we did physcial therapy! They work just down the hall from a PT office, too, so they have a room designated for physical therapy type stuff. He made me do stretches, strengthening exercises, and make lifestyle changes(such as never again carrying 20 bags of groceries at a time up to my apartment just to save an extra trip back to the car). His goal was to make it so I didn’t have to come back! When I was pregnant last year, everyone around me thought I’d have to wear a brace to help hold up the baby. But one visit every 3 weeks to Dr. Estes while my body was changing drastically, helped me get through pregnancy with no back brace! I became one of the most active mamas around, walking a ton and doing yoga. And how many times did he have to «pop» my back? 2⁄11 times. All the rest of the time he taught me stretches and light-weight training I can do around the house(no new weights to buy). I highly recommend him because of his non-invasive, holistic approach. He doesn’t just treat your joints and bones, he treats YOU and YOURLIFESTYLE.
