This place is better than most clothing stores in the 2^nd St District: a few more fitted pieces, some things made of silk and not just polyester. But again, I was overwhelmed with all the flimsy, chiffony pieces. I’m just going to be out of fashion since that’s all that’s seems to be going on right now. I survived the flats and gladiator sandals epidemics, I can weather chiffon and ruffles.
I tried on one navy blue silk dress but the proportions were not right for me. I don’t like how the clothes hang from suspended racks that move all over the place when you’re trying to browse and it is very dark and cavey feeling in here.

Some cute clothes. Some high prices. Some happy-​to-​be-​more-​fashionable-​than-​you owners.
This is a place to go if you need one special garment or accessory. It’s not a place where you could put together a wardrobe, at least if you work for a living like most of us.

what can i say about the wonderful girls at estilo, stephanie and erin, wow.wow.wow. the service here is impeccable. i have always been greeted with a smile and treated like a friend not just a customer each and every time i have come in here. if there is something i like and absolutely cannot live without, but cant find my size, they are ready to order, track down another size, virtually skin a stylist to find another one hahahaha. :D
there is a wonderful selection of unique styles, only a few of each item so you dont have to worry about a mass produced trend around town. A little piece of LA meets Soho with all the southern charm that keeps Austin looking its best :)

Okay, so my friend and I left a perfectly good party because we heard this place was putting on some kind of event from 6 – 9 with music, food and drinks. We got there at 8pm and all we found were crumbs on a plate and a bucket of ice.
I’m really sick and tired of places promoting events and they don’t provide things throughout the entire time they say the event is going on.
We looked at a couple of clothes that were ridiculously high priced and left.
Don’t waste your time here.

I cannot believe I’ve never been here before! As soon as I stepped foot in the door I was treated with such amazing and hospitable customer service like you wouldn’t believe.
I love high-​end stores and boutiques as much as the next wanna be fashionista, but you know the type of «service» that you usually have to deal with — over-​bearing with an air of «I’m going to keep an eye on you because you and I both know you can’t afford anything in here,» or completely invisible with a sprinkling of «I’m better than you» attitude until they find out you actually have money to spend.
Not the case at Estilo! The service ROCKS!
Oh, and did I mention the clothes? I know this place is named one of the best boutiques for men, but ladies, they have beautiful, high quality items for women and great sales! I was shopping for a dress to wear to a wedding and found a Trina Turk nearly 50% off! However, I was torn between that dress and another that was also marked down but had a little spot on it. The lovely saleswoman apologized for the spot and called the owner to see if they could take off some more for the dry cleaning expense that I would have to pay — the answer was yes! I ended up buying the Trina Turk dress because it was just too good to pass up.
I have found my favorite boutique in Austin, finally, and can’t wait to go back!

Estilo has a unique selection that you can not find in any other boutique in town. They have the best selection for men or dikes with style :)
The staff here is friendly and definately up to date with the latest styles and trends. Many times its hard for me to find mens clothing small enough to fit, but Estilo pulls through… if they don’t have it in the store they always offer to order it!!!

I have been going to Estilo for years since it opened. I stopped by there the other day see what they had in that I liked, and was pleasantly surprised by the amazing inventory of unique clothing they have right now. I don’t like to go out and look like every other person that is around me (no offense Dallas) so when I find a store that takes its time with its inventory to guarantee its patrons the best experience, unique look, and one-​of-​a-​kind clothing I always spend my money there.
The owner Stephanie met me with open arms, and spent almost 30 minutes with me suggesting a few different shirts that I probably would not have tried on but was pleasantly surprised with when I did. This attention to her clients needs and look they are trying to attain is why I think Estilo is one of the best options for a guy looking to improve his style or wardrobe.
Great job Estilo, and keep the good parties going!

Very friendly and good selection of higher end fashions! I usually don’t shop at boutiques because I have a hard time finding things that fit me and I’m on the conservative side of styles. But surprisingly I’ve found tops there were perfect here on a number of occasions – and for around $ 60 as opposed to $ 200! Oh, and a cool store/​location too!

Hoo boy. How do I put this? I think my honey put it best when he pulled a shirt off the rack, held it up to himself, and said, «Now, if I were hosting an Argentinean variety show, this is just EXACTLY what I’d want to wear.»
Nuff said.
Actually, I should clarify this. My honey is a musician. Not exactly a conservative type of guy. He’s used to point collars and big cuffs. But even so, it was a bit too flashy for him, and that’s not easy to do.
Aha! I’ve got it. Estilo: your source of upscale tango clothing in Austin. I’m not kidding. The stuff is nice. Suitable for a milonga.

This place is high-​fashion. something you would maybe find in SoHo NYC. Has a good selection of hard to find shirts and jeans… but for some reason I leave there empty-​handed every time. I don’t know. maybe a little too high fashion for me… they seem to specialize in button-​down long-​sleeve shirts. I prefer more laid-​back fashion… along the lines of Octane across the street.
Oh and they organize their clothes on the racks by color. you know you’re somewhere serious when they organize by color. And they have a DJ that serves music during busy hours.
