Very Deceptive Advertising! The 2 pair for $ 76 ad does state it’s based on choosing $ 19.95 lens. I assumed that was a starting point and if I wanted the slightly better quality $ 29.95 lens I could pay the $ 10 extra. No, it doesn’t work that way. It’s $ 19.95 lens or no deal. I ended up paying $ 110 for 2 pair – one with $ 19.95 lens and one with $ 29.95 lens. The extra $ 10 valued lens cost me an additional $ 34!!! I had to get new glasses quickly and I’d come here because they said they would have the glasses completed in 4 hours. Four hours and 45 minutes later they had one pair complete and told me I’d have to come back for the second pair because the screw had stripped the screw hole and they didn’t have another frame like that in the store. They have to get one from another store. I couldn’t come back tomorrow; I’d driven into Austin from 64 miles away. Finally she said she’d FedEx my glasses to me and I left with just her word that I’d get the second pair I’d already paid for. I’m worried I made a mistake On a positive, the glasses are considerably cheaper than buying in my small town fron the optometrist, but certainly not the deal that the ads suggest

Don’t expect any smiling faces or even a «hello» when you walk into this location. The 2 young women are unfriendly and you can tell they hate their job. As for the store itself, the selection is okay and they are pretty quick to provide you with your glasses. Won’t be coming back after to this location in the future.

My mother and I went there yesterday. One person in the store to help everyone. The girl there was asked by another customer on where her help was she proceeded to say that one person was out to have a baby, one was out on medical leave and one was part time. We had signed in to purchase glasses for a new prescription we waited 45 minutes and when out name was called we told her what we needed and she asked what insurance we told her medicare and she replied oh we don’t take medicare. My mother replied I have always came here for my glasses and used medicare. She replied something about taxes and they did not renew their contract with them. OK well post a sign! Don’t have people wait and wait and then decided you don’t take it. They definitely need a less in customer service! All the time we were there the phone was ringing she made a comment to another customer how annoying it was she just let it keep ringing I guess I should be grateful because my wait would have been even longer for them to tell us they could not help us!

The ONLY good thing about this place is the same day you pick out your frames, you’re most likely to receive them that evening, or the next day. Sure, they’ll break every few months, but who cares, right?! You have insurance on your glasses for a whole year, like every other place gives you. Very limited selection of frames, especially women. Looooong wait. Unorganized, UNORGANIZED. Hidden fees. Location. I had the hardest time there, especially with my sunglasses! They sold me sunglasses that needed to be reshaped so many times, it was really ridiculous. I went in about 5 or 6 times to get them reshaped so it didn’t look like I was looking through a fishbowl. The sunglasses should have been shaped correctly with 2 visits maximum. Amateur hour for sure! Then I had to go get new frames because they broke on me under warranty, and then the day before my warranty was up yet again had to get new frames because the new pair had broke! At this point I’m suspecting the frames are made extremely poor.

What sort of business model is this? One person working and zero chance to organize customers. I was sixth in what must be a difficult customer market and watch two other customers come in and try to circumvent the wait. Never did get served as that first person delayed and wasted all remaining open time of one hour.

Glasses are inexpensive, they have great deals and the staff is very nice. Frankly they have to be nice because they are swamped every time I’ve gone there. I’ve been there about 6 times and have never been waited on in less than an hour after entering the door. August and September seem to be the worst as parents are bringing in kids for new glasses for the school year. Some of the staff seem to take off from 12 to 1 for lunch so don’t plan on getting something done quickly on your lunch break. They finally did put in a sign in sheet so there is some level of organization but they don’t prioritize. If you’re there to pick up glasses you’ll be waiting for the family with five kids to finish their purchase. If your time is as valuable as the money you’ll save on glasses find another place to go. I’ll definitely never go there again.

You know that scene in «Pulp Fiction» where Jules and Vincent stare into GOLDEN brief case? It’s what I experienced when Shayne helped me at Eyemart the other day. I walked in 20 minutes before closing, told him exactly what I was looking for and BAM he reaches into a drawer and says…“we just got these in, they’re called Daddy –O”. I came in the next morning and my glasses were ready with all the treatments, coatings and progressive lens’s. I saved HUNDREDS of dollars and am very proud of my decision to visit Eyemart again. Ask for Shayne, he knows four-eyes like us!

These guys are AWESOME! No surprises, just great service! After going to Lenscrafters and being tricked by their misleading add, I was very discouraged and untrusting of «too good to be true» prices. BUT, what seemed too good to be true with Eyemart WAS true! New frames, new lenses, out the door for $ 120. My glasses were ready in an hour(I even told them I wasn’t in a hurry) and I got a text letting me know they were ready. I will DEFINITELY be back. Need glasses? Get to Eyemart ASAP, you won’t regret it!
