I can describe this store by saying it is messy, unorganized, has a slow check out and has a ton of mismatched shoes on the shelves. That being said if you are a bargain hunter who doesn’t mind digging you will find some decent t-shirts, tanks, sweaters, shoes and household stuff that you can wear and not worry about ruining them because you paid a high price tag. I have come here a few times to grab tanks for ACL, SXSW, camping, etc. They have a pretty good selection of everything but, don’t expect the clothes to last more than three washes and the shoes to last more than a couple weeks. They definitely turn a profit by not spending money on hangers and just tossing merchandise everywhere or it may be they don’t spend money on enough staff; either way you have to come with an open mind.

I have been to this Location a few times. If your looking for some inexpensive deals on household items and baby clothes or even clothes and are willing to search for the bargain deals this place is great. I made the mistake and went her during the Christmas shopping time. We arrived about 10 am –10:30 am and this place had clutter of of racks all over the place and everything was jammed on the racks. I wasn’t excited or happy with the dysfunction this one experience. SO I left after 5 minutes I am not the type of person who enjoys crowds, clutter and chaos of the Holiday shopping. I have had better experiences in this store in January, March and July. In fact I just was here like last week and the store was cleaner and thankfully back to its regular atmosphere.

I’m a hardcore dollar-store junkie back home. I can get stuff without paying full price. I know which stores to find bargain, Fallas Paredes is one of them. This was my first time visiting and I immediately felt in love with this part of town. I was gonna hit the freeway to head home before sunset. But I can’t resist checking up the store. My first impression was, «wow!» I have never seen a Fallas Paredes store with store full of merchandise. This is a shopper’s heaven, for me, at least. The messy store shelves mean low prices, limited time and limited quantity. I already found something I would take home with. But I didn’t have time to wait. All cash registers were open to ease a long line of customers on that Sunday afternoon. I have to document my experience so I won’t forget as I shall be back to get those eye-catching stuff on my next trip to Austin.

I love this place, for fairly descent CHEAPCLOTHING/shoes, BUTIT’S A DAMNMESSINTHISSTORE!!! Clothes all on the floor, as well as shoes all over the place, some shoes are NOT even in the box! I keep coming back b/c as previously stated, cheap clothing, & even SOME name-brand shoes for a nice price, can’t beat that. They even have a decent houseware items area, sooo… lol I just wish they took MOREPRIDE in their store’s appearance… 7.29.15

Store was so messy, unorganized, filthy and dirty. There were clothes with puke stain on it and found expired food items also. They need new manager and hired more workers.

I love this place! Its like going to a giant discounted Ross! They have brand name clothes and at a very cheap price. They have everything from bedding to bath to children’s clothes and shoes to lingerie! Everything you can think of… they have! You won’t be disappointed. Except there are no dressing rooms and the only returns are for store credit! :)
