A few months ago I was browsing Unilocal looking for an injury lawyer. I picked Josh based upon his great reviews. During this time, I called several attorneys requesting a consultation and many of them had me do a consultation with an assistant, and only between the hours of 8 – 5, M-​F. Realistically, this didn’t work with our schedule. My boyfriend was out of work due to his wreck and I could not miss because of our situation. Josh called me right away and scheduled a time for us to come into his office after hours, he met us on a Saturday around 6 pm for our consult. We were immediately impressed by his willingness to make us a priority.
My boyfriend was hit on his motorcycle by an uninsured driver. As you can imagine, this was a true nightmare for us. Luckily, we had the appropriate coverages, however knowing how to utilize them was a different story. Josh walked us through the process and handled it from day one through completion. He kept us informed of his every move and made us feel at ease over something that was extremely overwhelming.

During SXSW 2013, my girlfriend and I got pummeled by a hit and run drunk driver who was later apprehended. As cliché as it sounds, Josh was and will always be our ‘knight in shiny armor.” Josh was available for every question we had about the legal system and his attention to detail kept the process smooth and painless. Because of him, my girlfriend and I both ended up with two HUGE settlements. I’ve never seen so many zeros on a check! Mr. Fogelman kept up with me after the case was done, and influenced my own career path to change. An impressively drunk driver flew through a red light last spring and totaled my car, leaving me miraculously minimally injured (some soft tissue and knee tendon inflammation). The problem was that his insurance, being the typical no name insurance company they were, were dragging their heels in reimbursing me for my losses. There are always losses; missed work, medical appointments, etc.
I finally got fed up and found out about Josh, right here on Unilocal.Within two days we had met up, discussed the claim, laid out a game plan, and he was hired. It was such a relief to hand over the burden and focus on rebuilding. He was always quick with a response email or call if I had any questions, needed clarification, or simply wanted a status check. Within 6 months of hiring him (I had some physical therapy to complete first) he was calling me in to pick up my check.
I hope I don’t need his help again for a good long while, but if I am every in that position again I’m going to be calling him before my own insurance company.

Josh and his team are highly resourceful and educated when it comes to the field of injury law. We sought out Josh after a car accident where our car was totaled when we got in the way of an aggravated assault. it seemed at the time we both just had minor bumps and bruises. Josh was great about helping us figure out next steps with insurance but it soon became obvious that my husband had a serious injury that would require multiple surgeries and daily visits to wound care to heal. I knew we also needed help to navigate the minefield of insurance because there was a criminal element to our accident as well.

Josh Fogelman is the kind of lawyer that makes lawyer jokes less funny. When you hire him, he will do his level best to get you the best outcome possible. But I kind of think of Josh as just «my lawyer.» I’ve «got a guy.» A couple times I’ve called Josh about legal advice and he is always happy to hear what’s going on, be honest about his areas of expertise, and point me in the right direction. He really is caring, his pricing structure is fair, and he’s not there to take you for a ride or milk your misery. He genuinely wants to help.

I was rear-​ended pretty hard on the interstate and sustained a whiplash neck injury for which I had to seek medical treatment. I was referred to Josh through a friend of mine, and he was extremely helpful in what eventually became a pretty tricky case. Despite resistance from the insurance company to pay what we initially considered a fair settlement amount to cover my medical expenses, Josh negotiated with them and was able to get them to increase the settlement amount. Because I had to use my health insurance to cover my expenses up front, they were entitled to part of the settlement too, and he was also able to negotiate with them to reduce their entitlement fees as well.
He was knowledgeable and helpful at strengthening my case. He was always pretty accessible and very responsive, and he went out of his way to help me out. I recommend him!
