Front Gate Tickets

I bought a G eazy ticket for my daughter and never received notification that they changed the venue. My daughter found out from a friend on the way to the concert. I called and spoke to someone about the new venue and she assured me it was the same get there early first come first serve. They would have there choice main floor or go up to the balcony. Just not vip which I get. They got to the concert early were on the main floor decided best to go up to the balcony. The man at the bottom of the stairs told them to go up and when they got to the top were told no they have to go down! By the time they go down they were in back. Both times I called to complain I got no where and they are very rude. I would never order tickets here again and I say buyer beware.

I promised my son a VIP ticket for the Coachella Music Festival for Christmas this year. He is 18 and was VERY EXCITED to go again this year!
I was sitting at my computer 30 minutes before the tickets went on sale today at 11:00 ready to buy a ticket. Their instructions were not very clear which made me unable to get my son a ticket the ‘conventional’ way. It said to click a link at 11:00 which I did-​over and over with nothing happening… It said I may need to refresh the page at 11:00 and NOT that I needed to refresh the browser. I refreshed the page by clicking back to the initial Coachella page and it kept sending me back to the page that said «Click Here» to get a code which I did for 17 minutes before realizing that the ENTIRE web browser needed to be refreshed. That 17 minutes FOR SURE ruined my chances to buy just 1 VIP ticket for my son. Their instructions should have been MUCH MORE CLEAR! I am super bummed for my son but I’ll just have to wait until the week before and find someone selling a VIP ticket…

Nothing about this purchase has gone right. I purchased tickets online for my two sons for RTX which is a gaming convention held in Austin Texas each year. The company Rooster Teeth apparently contracts with
to sell tickets to this event. We were told via
that our tickets would be mailed approximately 2 weeks prior to the event. Never got tickets. I contacted them and was told they were now not mailing them, that they would be picked up at will call. Then we were informed via email that instead of unlimited autograph sessions at rtx, as in the past was the case, that we were limited to one autograph session and they would provide us with codes to use to pick the session we wanted. Got the email, went online at the prescribed time and (no surprise) codes didn’t work! immediately began calling (3 times, over 20 minute holds each time! Apparently they screwed up lalapalooza tickets as well and that was opening day for that so never got to speak to a rep that day .) finally emailed. Complained of the wait times and told them the problem. 3 hrs later finally got someone to help only to find out sessions my son wanted were full. Asked for a supervisor. got a hold of one finally (greg johnson) the next day. Live phone call after I refused to hang up, waited over an hour on hold! Explained what happened and that codes still wouldn’t work and now sessions he wanted were full. He was seemly nice and promised that he would call me back either that day or Monday. Never called me back. So Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday I called and emailed. Finally he emailed back «nothing we can do. Those sessions full. «Blah blah blah. so I called general customer service again since the codes still wouldn’t work for ANYTHING ! Got another supervisor «Aaron» who said «don’t know where u got those codes as they aren’t even close to the right codes». I told him give me an email to send them to and I would send the email from them with those incorrect codes. In the meantime he finally used a different code and got one autograph session scheduled. All others were filled. What a waste of time and money. I suggest going thru the company directly or go to the box office. This company is a total screw up and you will likely lose your money and get nothing in return.

I can honestly say this was the worst customer service I have ever received in my life. I have never been treated so poorly or been given so little help. I had to call multiple times between my bank and frontgate to try to figure out why my card was being declined. I had been told by frontgate it was the billing address but when I contacted my bank it was the website. I ended up spending about 4 hours back and forth trying to figure out this order not to mention the time it took to reserve a ticket and got no sympathy ended up with no ticket and a $ 50 charge. I really can’t believe that a festival that costs this much money could have such rude customer service.

The way this company has treated me as a customer and a person is not okay. I purchased a festival ticket from Front Gate using their «Payment Plan» option, the plan was cancelled after they charged nearly $ 200 to my credit card and refused to refund my money or issue my ticket.
My plan consisted of five $ 65.00 payments to be charged monthly. After my first four payments were charged successfully totaling $ 196.10 my plan was cancelled. When I reached out to Front Gate they wouldn’t provide me with any specific details. They told me my last payment was declined by my bank and that according to their contract my order was cancelled and the entire $ 196.10 I had already paid was forfeited and non-​refundable. They have kept my money and my ticket. Although I remained calm on the phone the Front Gate representatives were incredibly short and demeaning towards me.
In this contract I agreed to electronically it states that «Front Gate Ticketing will contact you within the first week of the month if your payment does not go through» and this did not occur. Within that first week Front Gate made no attempt to contact me. I received no phone calls from Front Gate, no emails or mail of any kind (and yes, my spam filter didn’t pick up any emails). When I mentioned this to Front Gate they said it was my responsibility to make sure all payments would go through and that they «are not responsible to contact me if payment doesn’t go through». However it’s in the contract!!! The contract that was binding enough not to refund my money. So I told the Front Gate representative, «your contract states that Front Gate Ticketing will contact me within the first week of the month if my payment does not go through» to which she replied, «that is only done as a courtesy, we’re not required to reach out to you.» They’re blatantly ignoring parts of the contract they wrote. If that was a courtesy it would not be in the contract or state that it’s specifically done as a courtesy, which it does not. They told me they were not able to provide proof that they reached out to me via email.
Not only is this contract highly unethical but the representatives on the phone were so dismissive and uncaring that I had just lost $ 200 to their «policies». I’m posting this on the BBB not to vent but as a warning to others. I’m a current law student so I will be filing a case against Front Gate in small claims court if my money is not refunded and I will keep this post updated on the BBB and on Unilocal.I urge anyone to file a claim against this company in a similar situation, don’t let Front Gate take advantage of you.
UPDATE: Front Gate responded to my Better Business Bureau complaint, about a week later a full refund was issued. Be persistent, they’ll treat you like dirt but remain calm and keep fighting for what’s rightfully yours.

Had an HORRIBLE experience with FGT. They charged my card 5 separate times for over $ 200 and then only had 1 ticket at will call when I was supposed to have 2. They promised me a response on the matter 3 days in a row and never got back to me. Boo on their customer service & support. Aaron was of absolutely no help and tried to scapegoat blame from FGT to the promoters at Stubb’s Austin​. I was never even offered an apology or a refund for the one ticket i couldn’t use. Biggest waste of time & money!

Front Gate’s policy of not re-​shipping returned Coachella tickets is ridiculous. Especially when clients are willing to pay the cost of shipping. I will NEVER use Front Gate to purchase another ticket. I would rather pay double the price through a scalper than have to interact with this unprofessional organization. I hope some enterprising young hacker out there wreaks havoc with their operations.

Front Gate must hire rejects from Comcast because their customer service is horrible. Purchased Coachella tickets nearly a year ago and was clear when I purchased them that I would need to give them an address to send the tickets to. Instead they just used the billing address and when I tried to call to rectify the situation they said they had «broadcast on social media that change of addresses were no longer being accepted as of February 23.» What the hell?
Oh yeah, then Greg, the so-​called supervisor hung up on me after continually asserting that they could do nothing.

On May 16^th 2014 I purchased two tickets and a camping pass to the Coachella Music Festival in May of 2014. I used their layaway plan. In late October, my bank, suspended my debit card due to a suspected security breach.
In the midst of dealing with replacing my card and informing the many payees I have connected to the card, It slipped my mind that FGT was linked to it too. When FGT processed the November payment, it was declined. Something that I was not aware of until most recently during my bank reconciliation.
When I looked into what had happened and most importantly why I wasn’t contacted about this I finally found an email that had been filtered through SPAM. In ANY situation where a payment did not get processed properly, the company has always made formal notice by Mail/​USPS which is legally recognized as the appropriate method or at least called or made personal contact. That didn’t happen here.
My passes where cancelled and they took all of my layaway money totaling $ 700. When I contacted FGT, they said it was my fault no matter what happened. So, not only did I hear I would lose my tickets and $ 700 dollars but the lady on the phone was so dismissive and uncaring. I don’t know about you but if I told someone that they lost $ 700 dollars I might say sorry at least just once and offer a logical common sense solution. Instead all I heard was «it’s our policy».
Their «Policy» seems not only Highly Unethical but I question it’s legality as even in the case of home loans; monies paid are not reclaimed by the creditor until a FULL PERIOD of Foreclosure is completed, usually involving several notifications, legal notice and a period of time in which a mortgage holder can make good on the amount in default.
As a business owner I know myself everything isn’t black and white and there is a lot of grey area where you need to bend a little and common sense should prevail.
These tickets were for my wife’s birthday which is the only reason we would spend money like this, I knew it was important to her. Now instead of having the best present for my wife our family has to face a huge financial hit for absolutely nothing! This has cause us a great deal of emotional and financial stress and I do not wish this situation on anyone else which hopefully me sharing this experience will help prevent.

On May 16, 2014, I purchased 2 GA Coachella tickets along with 2 shuttle passes for Coachella 2015. This was made on my Visa debit card on a layaway plan and totaled $ 870. Late November, my card was compromised and without my knowledge, my bank cancelled my card and proceeded to send me a new card to prevent any further security breaches. The card was not shipped and thus, I had no debit card for the time being. FGT emailed me to warn me of faulty payment because my original card had not gone through. However, the emails all went to spam. Never had ANY emails from FGT regarding Coachella been sent to spam. Had I seen this email, I would have paid on the spot. Up until this point, all emails had went to my direct inbox, which includes monthly receipts. I had been dutiful about my payments and had paid $ 756.90 at this point. Of course, I would have paid the remaining $ 113.10; it would be in my best interest to obtain tickets for a festival for which I had already allocated so much money.
I emailed FGT about this issue, but was returned a response stating that my tickets were to remain cancelled. I called FGT to explain the situation further. The representative I spoke with even asked her «manager» if the «manager» had sent me the email prior to the phone call to mock that my actions would go unwarranted. I was not even allowed to talk to any of the higher-​ups regarding my case, which she agreed was unfair. I was then advised to contact Goldenvoice and
. I think she just wanted me off the line because I contacted Goldenvoice and I was referred back to FGT and
. I have a feeling that they purposely sent the faulty payment warning emails directly to spam to profit from our misfortune because i have heard from countless others that they are in the same exact situation as I am.
This is my first time purchasing from FGT and I am extremely disappointed in the practices they employ. These circumstances were beyond my control and I hope that they will be able to offer better customer service in the future.

After a few months of not checking, I went to my front gate tickets account to make sure nothing funny was happening with my order. For some reason my order had disappeared from my account page and I had a brief panic that for some reason my order had been canceled. I sent an email and within 12 hours I received a response saying that my order had been processed successfully and another receipt should show up in my email. When I checked my front gate account again, my order was there! Hopefully this means that some of the complaints I have seen of Front Gate Tickets have caused them to make some changes, because they made a frustrating situation much less so in a very short time.

The Company runs a scam and have practices that are against consumer law IMHO. Pls check to see if they are even licensed to do business in your state.

This is the WORST customer service I have EVER experienced. The manager on duty named Aaron is a complete jerk and so unhelpful. His customer service representative was nothing but sweet, I do not understand how he managed to get into a position of power. I received a code to purchase a 4 in the forest discounted ticket for Electric Forest and ACCIDENTALLY purchased my tickets in full instead of on the payment plan. I was transferred to Aaron after being on hold for a half hour. With this specific code they guaranteed my tickets for 24 hours, they’ve been on sale about an hour now. When I told him what happened he interrupted me multiple times, told me there was not enough inventory to cancel and resubmit my order (THERES ENOUGH INVENTORY FOR 24 HOURS GUARANTEED SO THATS BULLSHIT). Then he told me it was literally, «my problem» that I hit submit and he would not help. So now I’m negative $ 1200 in my bank account. SINCE WHEN do you not have the power to CANCEL an order. I told him that if he wouldn’t help me fix my order, than to cancel it in full, and said no. NO.?! are you kidding me. I have been buying these 600 $ tickets for FOUR years from this site, and they show no sign of gratitude or customer service. TERRIBLE manager. TERRIBLE.

Horrible company AVOID!!! They sold me tickets to seats that should not have been available for the general public in the first place. I purchased the tickets a month and a half in advance then 2 days before the event they emailed me saying they moved my seats. My seats where moved to somewhere I was not happy with (without my consent) but they would not refund my money. The «Manager» decided to tell me that it was my fault that I bought the wrong seats to begin with even after the frontline answering person told me that THEIR SYSTEM had made an error. IF YOU DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY BE PREPARED TO GET SCREWED!!!

This company is complete dogshit. Somehow this small 10-​person company managed to receive the contract for the distribution of Coachella passes and they have failed at every aspect: from making their clunky joke of a website impossible to interact with, to canceling payment plan orders for no apparent reason. I lost out on my Coachella tickets this year after paying a significant amount of money into the payment plan, and all they could say was «sorry there’s nothing else you can do». Thanks Front Gate Tickets, you guys are truly scumbags.

Sad, pitiful, awful service. Bought tickets to their same show twice because it was confusing, and they wouldn’t take care of me.
We bought 6 tickets to LIARS here inn San Diego tonight. (order 26 657 134).
However, we weren’t told that the San Diego Music Thing event day passes already included admission to this show! The tickets Front Gate sent say «San Diego Music Thing and Casbah present» on them but Victoria had never heard of the San Diego Music Thing. I was hoping they would «do the right «music thing» and give me my money back on these (only $ 20 each). but her boss GREG he said no. wouldn’t speak to me on the phone. they said the couldn’t because it was the same day. If I called yesterday would it be different? No.
Sad, pitiful, awful, pathetic service to make a really good client «eat» these tickets and pay for the same concert twice.
They should ALWAYS err on the side of pleasing the customer on a confusing issue like this. Bad decision, Greg.

The worst company ever. Do not respond to phone calls or email. Customer service was rude when I finally got through. Refused to give me a refund that I was 100% entitled to. Rep «transferred me to her manager», ie a dead voicemail box. Have left them 8 voicemails with no response. They disconnected me when I called back again. This company should be shut down.

I tried to by tickets for Lollapalooza and had a horrible experience. Just as the lollapalooza website instructed, I was online just before 10am on a couple devices trying to buy tickets through Frontgate. Both browsers were in the que to purchase and were auto refreshing for an hour and a half. Then the screens changed and informed me that all 3 day passes were sold out. I was never even given the chance to buy. The ticket site is such a sham. I feel so cheated and frustrated. I bet there will be a bunch of tickets now on scalping sites at much higher prices. lollapalooza should be ashamed of how the ticket sale process cheats customers. Clearly Frontgate’s software/​hardware is incapable of handling such a large event and the result is that a large majority of customers get screwed.

Buy your tickets elsewhere! These people claim to be the cool alternative to Ticketmaster but BUYER BEWARE: If you were hit by a car and had your legs severed off or were in a burning fire saving kittens, Front Gate Tickets would add a surcharge for your wheelchair. They overcharge for tickets and offer nothing in terms of customer support. Buy your tickets through a broker or on Craigslist. This place is a joke. If you enjoy being gouged on price, treated like dirt and snubbed by the hipsters on S. Congress, celebrate Front Gate Tickets!
