I’ve been a patient of Dr. Fudman since 2005, and he is nothing but professional. He may not have the chitty-chatty social bedside manner of some doctors, but he graduated from Duke University. He has a great education behind him and is extremely intelligent. I can tell that he always stays up-to-date on current research in rheumatology because I generally ask a million questions about everything, and he frequently cites information from current research as gleaned from medical journals to justify his rationale or to answer my questions. This guy knows his stuff. And after all, when you are dealing with an autoimmune disorder such as lupus, which can be potentially life-threatening, you just want a smart doctor. Dr. Fudman is great. He put me on one medication 9 years ago and has kept my side effects at bay for the entire course of my life since I was first diagnosed with lupus. In addition, he always keeps up with my labs and is extremely thorough in ensuring my safety and successful treatment as his patient. I wouldn’t go to anyone else.

I have only been to see Dr Fudman once and I wish I had not. He is Probably the rudest man I have ever met in my entire life. He did not listen to anything I said. Very judgmental, insulting, and condescending… Worst experience at a doctor’s office I have ever had. My questions/concerns were not listened to, and was treated like I was ignorant. The front office lady is rude and snappy. The nurse, she was really nice, personable and caring.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Fudman for over five years. When I first started seeing him, I was a medical mess. Since then, he’s changed my meds, worked with me to get my issues under control, and, happily, I’ve pretty much been in remission for three years and was able to have a baby(which was not even a remote possibility before Dr. Fudman). I’m not going to pretend that he’s the perfect doctor because he isn’t. He does not have a great«bedside manner.» In fact, he’s rather abrupt and to the point, almost curt at times. However, he really does want the best for his patients and he’s certainly helped me a lot. The bottom line — he’s a well educated doctor that knows his stuff, which is why I gave him 5 stars.
