AR — centric gun show accesssories and parts, in a walk in store front. By that I mean, really good selection of AR parts, stocks, and uppers, with reasonable prices, not the stereotypical LGS prices. Very friendly staff, very knowledgeable. Good place to eyeball various brand items in person, instead of off the internet. Fridays through the weekend they are closed, because they are away at gun show south and southwest of Austin.

I have to say, I went in not expecting a whole lot when I first found out about this place since I usually NEVER have good experiences at gun stores. However, this place is not a gun store (not a FFL dealer), but they sell EVERYTHING black rifle (AR15) except for the lower receivers (which you can buy on the store next door to GDS). They are very their stuff and their prices are pretty amazing comparing to other places that seel black rifle parts, in fact some prices are even competitive to some online outfits. These guys are THE people you should go to get spares and if you have one of those itty-​butty spring flying and you cannot find it anymore.
Moreovere, they can assemble upper receivers from parts you bring in. They are fast, and they do a good job on those assemblies. The fact they are tentatively open on Fridays if they are not setting up to a gun show, is not a big issue to me. Moreover, I have been on their booth once when there were gun shows being held on Travis County and their prices are the same as the store. Therefore, if you want to see them on the weekends, you can go where they are too.
All in all, I am pretty happy with my experience, I personally call them the «Autozone» of the black rifle world!

I’ve purchased parts from these guys several times now. Once a couple years ago when I built my first AR, and recently when I built a new upper. These guys have an excellent inventory and their prices match, and sometimes even beat, online prices. Plus they are great guys to deal with. They know their stuff and are actually FRIENDLY… you don’t have to deal with the bad «gun salesman» attitude like you get at some gun shops.

It’s been a VERY long time since I have been able to go to a business that I feel is completely honest in what they offer, what they can/​can not provide, and actually follow up with what they say they will do.
I’ve been in the area for years, going to other places and, ahem, «distributors». I can honestly say this place has left me feeling more comfortable than any other business around. They have been in business since 1977, and they keep customers from what I can tell. The owner of this family business seemed a little on the cold/​disinterested side to me the first time I went, so I can understand the other review mentioning this, but I must say, the next time I went in there he was very friendly and social. He is probably just one of those types that keeps his mind so full that it comes off as anti-​social at first.
I had them do some work to my AR, it was done when he said it would be done, at a price that was certainly fair, and he took the time to point out the changes/​modifications while not just telling me, but showing me. Personally, I don’t think you can expect much more than that from a business.
The end result is that I’ve found a business that I trust to be honest and fair, and they’ve found a long-​time customer. They are not the biggest store out there, and they do not carry everything under the sun, but if you want good, practical advice and fair priced products you can trust in the real world, check them out.

Was referred to these guys by someone who works in the hunting dept at a big-​box store. Man, I need to go thank that fella. Called looking for the proverbial «needle in the haystack» and not only did they have one, they had eight! Price was even below the online stores that were gouging on high capacity magazines.
Talked to Scott on the phone, and met Jacob when I walked in. They even tightened an AR adapter for me at n/​c. Knowledgeable, friendly, family owned… just wish they were closer to me.

Good place to purchase your AR parts and accessories. They are very knowledgable and have been in the business a long time. No BS folks here.

For AR-​15, M4 Carbine, M-​16 (the black rifle) parts and accessories, this is THE place to go. The only way to find a bigger selection of the *good* stuff (as opposed to cheap crap) would be to shop online. The guy who helped me knew it all, never pressured me to buy, and even helped me install the parts. The owner seemed a bit on the sleazy side, but that was a one-​time impression (I’ve been wrong about people before, after all) and that didn’t effect my shopping experience.

Very helpful staff, no up-​selling. They have the most extensive AR-​15 part selection in town that I have come across, short of going to a weekend gun show. Make sure to call ahead on Fridays, as they sometimes close-​up shop to go set up a booth a the areas shows, other than that would be 5 stars. They are also prices are also some of cheapest I could find without going online.

This place has everything for the AR15 except the lower receiver. They don’t carry crap, no Ncstar or UTG
