This is now called Salon 620 and is under different management. Where do I start? I booked the $ 35 Morgan’s Deal special of haircut, haircolor, style etc with Deborah. That should have been my first clue. If it looks like too good a deal to be true — it is! Anyway — walked in and her cublicle was dirty and cluttered beyond belief. And right away she starts telling me that it’s going to cost a little bit more than the deal I bought because she wants to add highlights etc(which I did NOT ask for — I wanted just all over color). So… not wanting to cause a fuss I reluctantly agree but tell her that the top of my hair is almost completely grey and if she puts red on there that spot alone will turn bright red where the rest of my hair will remain dark brown and it will look really strange. But no, she doesn’t listen and does her thing regardless. She ALSO takes it upon herself to add color to my eyebrows which I specifically said I DIDN’T want. Color was splashing EVERYWHERE. I don’t know if she was drunk or just clumsy but she was dropping everything and color was going everywhere — including my jeans, which are now ruined and on the floor — which at least she wiped up so I didn’t step in it! Dye was all over my face and although she scrubbed it hard it didn’t come off — so I was forced to walk out of the salon with dye all around my hairline and around my eyebrows. Anyway — two and half hours later as she’s starting to cut my hair I notice with horror that the top of my hair is sure enough BRIGHTRED while the rest is dark brown — EXACTLY what I warned her would happen! She insists that once she dries it will«blend» — of course it didn’t! I was by this point EXTREMELY upset because she clearly had no idea what the hell she was doing, as I’d warned her this exact thing would happen and I did NOT have time or the patience to sit there for another 2 hours and let her fix this problem!!! She also had NOIDEA how to even style my hair. My hair is naturally curly and any hairdresser knows that you NEVER blow dry naturally curly hair without a diffuser or else it will just turn into frizz — which it of course did. Half way through her styling and increasing upset by her attitude, lies and incompetency I got up and walked out. I rang the manager of the Salon, who was very nice and said he’d call me back with the name of someone who could«fix» it. He did very promptly and told me that the girl was expecting my call. I rang 4 times and twice left voicemail messages that have been unreturned. So at this point my hair is still a complete mess and I’m a VERY unhappy customer. The whole experience was unbelievably traumatic. The color is HORRIBLE, the cut is BAD, Deborah was the most unprofessional hairdresser I’ve ever come across in my 48 yrs and the style… well I left before that was even finished. I literally could NOT get out of there fast enough and that was two and a half hours of my life I’ll never get back and now I have to pay someone else probably to fix it — as the person who was supposed to fix it from the salon never rang me back as promised. Owner rang the other stylist again who has now fixed my hair. It says a lot that he went above and beyond to make me happy and fix someone else’s problem. He owns the business but each stylist rents their own cublicle so it’s their own business — so really he didn’t have to do anything, but he did. Other stylist was Kirsten and she was great but waaaay more than I’ll ever be able to afford otherwise… so after this I’m afraid it’s back to the box for me.

One of my dental patients referred me to Sherry York when I complimented her on her glowing, healthy skin. Sherry did an amazing job on my facial! I would highly recommend her! She is very gentle & tailors the facial to your personal skin needs. I recommend Sherry to all the women(& even men) in my life! Great present for any occasion! I got my mom/step-mom/& mother-in-law gift cards for facials w/Sherry as Christmas presents. Everyone raved about what a treat it was! My MIL felt like she was levitating off the massage table during/after because she was so relaxed :) Sherry was sweet enough to email the gift certificates to me, which I found extremely convenient!

Mehri Yousefi at Grapevine Salons at Lakeline Is the BOMB! Mehri Yousefi is a very talented professional! She was there waiting for me even though I arrived a few minutes early and was her first appt. of the day. When I told her what I wanted with my hair she understood right away and it came out exactly as I had requested and looks awesome! She is even able to do waxing so you can even kill 2 birds with one stone :-) I will definitely back to see her soon and would recommend her to anyone that wants to looks great when they leave the salon! PS: Her prices are VERY reasonable so you get great hair for a great price!

It had been three months since my last cut. My hair was unwieldy and just plain awful to deal with. The lady that had cut my hair previously did a bad job and my cut was uneven and the layers were just kind of weird — giving me a deformed Rachel. Today I decided that something had to be done. I went out on a limb and chose the Grapevine Salons on 620, since the reviews for the other locations had been so outstanding. From the onset I was in love, because you can book your appointments online. When I arrived Erin Terry surveyed the damage, helped me come up with a game plan and offered me a glass of wine. She was very understanding and fully listened to all of my concerns. She washed, cut, and styled my hair in 50 minutes giving me detailed descriptions of everything she was doing and why. She used product on my hair but never tried to push me to buy any of it, which is really a relief. She evened out my cut and styled it beautifully and I usually hate how the stylists style! I will definitely be going back!
