Hanz Zarate

When I was looking for an artist to do my first tattoo, I asked my friends. I wanted someone who was known for their clean lines, bright coloring, and good shading but most importantly a nice guy. Well, I got all those and more when my friends referred me to Hanz Zarate. I was skeptical at first but he quickly made me feel at ease with his professionalism and courteousness. With my idea and his artistic ‘Art Nouveau’ style we were able to create an amazing tattoo. Hanz was precise with his instruction and vision. His artistic talent and professional demeanor far exceeded my expectation. I highly recommend his services.

So! Hanz. He’s fantastic. I’m halfway through a fairly large back tattoo with him and so far I’m thrilled with the result.
Before I met him, I looked through his work online and could tell he absolutely knows what he’s doing. Then I met with him in person and brought him my design idea (which I’ve had in mind for about 15 years). We worked together on the reality of what the tattoo was capable of vs what I wanted vs. my design, and we came up with a tattoo that I’m SO happy with and can’t wait to finish.
During the tattoo process he was very understanding and patient and calm which is exactly what I need in an artist.
As soon as the summer is finished I’m going back to him to get the rest of my color done. I HIGHLY recommend Hanz!

Hanz Zarate is an amazing artist. Plain and simple. I always knew that i wanted tattoos but it had to be with the right artist. I could never just walk into a place and pick something off the wall and say «stick me». I have waited 39 years to get my first piece done. For me personally it was finding the «right» artist even if it meant i had to wait a long time. Having a connection with the artist. Someone who thoroughly enjoys their craft and you were not just another «client. Hanz takes the time to get to know you as an individual and helps you turn your vision into a reality. Clean lines, solid work and always professional. His creativity and passion speaks for itself. I have recommended Hanz to several friends and associates near and far and shall continue to do so. I trust Hanz, and that’s important when getting artwork permanently tattooed on your body :) I first met Hanz about a year ago, and was immediately put at ease with his kind personality and patience with myself and my wife. We gave Hanz a very vague idea on what we wanted, and Hanz was able to tell us what would work well and what would not. long story short, my wife has a beautiful tattoo symbolizing her freedom from past addictions and her desire to always move forward-​out of the cage.
