The diamond came back black again. Pro:They had ordered a completely new ring for me in case that happened, so good thinking on their part. Con:They changed my ring size, though to a smaller one instead of the original size with the gold ball sizers(so I can easily remove them when I gain pregnancy weight), so in the end I think I will have to spend money on resizing(weakening)the ring later on.

Horribly wonderful experience :) A Horribly Wonderful Experience Let me start this off by saying we got our engagement ring at Helzberg after a disaster of an experience at Jarod’s. We were shopping for wedding bands months in advance. Our sales rep at Helzberg made a point of saying how important it was to get our order in within plenty of time of the wedding date so that we got the rings that would be blessed in the ceremony instead of a stand in. A few months later we placed our order. Strange thing soon to be hubby’s band came in and mine had not yet. I kept wanting to call and check but future hubby kept saying they told us up to 6 weeks for mine to come in and to give it time so we waited. Here we are 2 weeks before our wedding date and he calls, to my horror the order was not submitted correctly the ring was never going to be made with the way it was submitted no wedding band. The bad part, I have a super small ring size to use a display wedding band with diamonds on it would permanently destroy the ring it will not hold, it would only be for the ceremony the same ceremony they pressed I must have my ring order submitted in time for so that it would be the same ring and blessed by the minister. Now that we have found this out we go to the store to see what if anything can be done. Nothing they will try to rush the order but there is no guaranty that I would have my important ring to be blessed during the ceremony it will be a stand in ring. My future hubby took me to Tiffany & Company, who could guarantee my ring would be ready in time. I told him no. Helzberg advised they would do everything they could to try to make sure my ring arrived in time for the ceremony. They even decided to deliver a ring on the morning of the ceremony to The Botanical Garden’s. The store manager Jon was on the way with the stand in, he got a call turned around headed back towards the store and someone else met him halfway with the actual ring. He arrived through heavy event traffic(not ours) and handed the ring to my mother in plenty of time for the ceremony. He saved the day :) This was a very stressful situation for us. Helzberg employees went above and beyond to make sure a mistake didn’t ruin our big day. This rating is almost 2 years overdue.
