I’ve been here a few times and they have what I need every time. I haven’t gone across the way to Twin Liquors to compare prices but I feel I got a pretty good deal. On top of the sweet deal, they give military discount. Now this maybe because I’m from some small little hole in the wall city, but I’ve never known a liquor store off base that offered it so kudos! Staff is friendly & always courteous. Have no complaints thus far!

This is a nice, quaint little family run liquor store that does a lot of business by cashing checks for their patrons. They definitely sell lots of alcohol too, and it has never seemed so terribly overpriced as Alistair would have you believe in his review. I prefer being able to know the name of the clerk to being able to support a mega chain and save a buck or two. Ain’t nobody got time for that! In fact, I’d rather pay more if it means I get to know who I’m supporting. They also sell Yeti coolers, mixers, beer, and smokes. Their smokes are a bit costly, but they’ll be the first to tell you that. The taxes on tobacco are higher for liquor stores, or something along those lines. Overall I’m awarding Hillside five stars as a result of my many pleasant experiences with them over the years.

One star — if this is your only option, then so be it. Otherwise, go to Twin or Specs. Almost all of their bottles here were $ 3 – 10 more than Twin or Specs! I understand mom and pops pricing their stuff more because they probably pay more… but this is too much! Kinda like what you would pay if this was the only liquor store in a 50 mile radius.
