Best place in town to see waterfowl and a variety of shore birds. Great for those that have mobility issues as well. Much can be viewed from your vehicle. Hours are sunrise to sunset… Ponds are next to Colorado River and attract lots of migrants. Environmental center on the right as you enter for classes and various meetings. Also some hiking trails through the woods to the Colorado. Entry is through a security gate where you will check in and state your business… Here is a great resource for those interested in bird identification at Hornsby
