Food is a lot better since my last review here. I ordered a omelette hamburger and it is great. I was a little nervous that it would be a repeat of the Italian pasta I had last time. They have improved greatly and are very considerate of there customers. Even when understaffed for the amount of people here they keep the services going and apologize when they can’t get to you quickly.

Well, we all know ihop to be decent food at a quick pace, but there are still some standards we have. Our journey begins at 10 in the morning on a Saturday, the restaurant is relatively busy, but not on a wait yet. I have myself and a friend, we get seated immediately, but maybe they should have had a false wait? It takes 19 minutes for a server to greet us, and she wasn’t even the one who was supposed to. She is the only reason this isn’t a one star review. I don’t understand a restaurant that would rather you wait in a booth for your server for an obscene amount of time, instead of being honest and letting the guest know that the server needs 5 minutes to catch back up. I currently work in the restaurant industry, and if we have a server fall behind either we help them catch up, or ask the host to give them a few minutes, even if that means a false wait. The woman who ended up taking care of us was great though, and we appreciate her picking us up out of section.

This is the worse IHOP that’s ever existed. The place is full of empty tables, there’s plenty of staff, guy takes our name upfront, «table for 2 about 10 minutes.» Fast forward an hour, still not seated, there’s no staff up front taking names, if you approach any staff to ask a question they ignore you like you don’t exist and look the other way. Eventually we take matters into our own hands and sit at a table. We finally exist again and are approached by a waiter who tells us we can’t seat ourselves and to go back to the waiting area. When we ask how long the wait will be, he says, «probably an hour and a half.» No explanation, no empathy, no nothing… so we leave. The whole experience was surreal — it wasn’t even busy, just bizarre. It was the perfect example of society breaking down and people who are probably normal reasonable human beings were somehow lost, complacent and incapable of the simplest task. I wish I knew what we missed, because this wasn’t normal. But for the sake of Unilocal reviews, this experience was terrible, a HUGE waste of time and deserves no stars for lacking in every way possible.

This IHOP identifies it’s Black customers as such. Like it is an important factor in what they put into their food. Hmmmm

I have never been to this restaurant but I have seen the posting of a receipt that reads Black PPL… I would like for someone to tell me If, why, a posting like this would be appropriate… Especially because it is unlawful. Has society reached such a low that you would put the nationality of your guest on the receipt. So, how do you mark an Italian, a German, a Latino? If you are trying to compile the demographics of your community I am sure the city has that information. If you are trying to find out how far your marketing or brand goes their is a zip code for THAT information. Never been to Texas… But I’m sure this restaurant is not representative of all the IHOPs in the community. I am certainly going to contact the franchise office and see if they might have an answer for the insulting way the customers are identified and disrespected.

What is the purpose of listing ethnicity on a ticket??? Shame on IHOP! Boycott needed!

Really y’all calling people out by race on their order ticket? That can only mean Black folks are getting subpar food. Shame on you!

I’ve found the food at IHOPs to be consistently mediocre but wonderfully filling especial;ly after a hard night on the booze. However, I am not writing this review for that reason. At 3am on Feb 292016, someone labelled a table«BLACKPPL» which really is not appropriate. I wonder if management will do anything. Unilocal doesn’t seem to take picture uploads, so I’ll tell you it was Check 2465 and the waiter was Dwayne.

I was greeted with a smile. Coffee was slightly bitter: classic iHop. My server was friendly and attentive. 2×2×2 was very good. Eggs over medium as requested. Bacon was that mix of good crunch and toothsome chew. Pancakes were really, really good: Just a hint of crunch to the golden crust and light, fluffy insides. I prefer the butter pecan syrup. Came to town for a business meeting. This was the closest breakfast place open. Worked out well for me.

They have got to be the worst IHOP I have been to. They are seriously under staffed and the waitresses are rude! Waiting over twenty minutes for an appetizer is ridiculous! Sure it’s a Saturday night but if you know this then why do you not staff to make it smooth? Instead it’s an attitude to make the paying customer to wait. I will refuse to eat here ever again! There was two managers that didn’t even attend us while the waitress refused to serve us. She was being unprofessional and gave rude signs to other servers to close us out. She wanted a pity party then she could knock on others to do so. Another waiter came outside trying to start a fight, while security is there. Real professional right? To my understanding security is for customers not to act a fool, not the employees… Guess I was wrong according to this location. If you’re seeing this stray away cause they will screw you over and stay away from Trixie… Her one eyed self is horrible.

This is still by far one of my favorite IHOP locations especially after a night on the town. I don’t think I have ever experienced bad service here and the food is always delicious as I expect. I noticed quite a few negative comments, but in my visits in the past as well as this visit, I really can’t report any bad experiences.

By far the worst IHOP I’ve ever been to. I understand it Christmas Day and you’re the only show in town, but 40 minutes for food for a restaurant that wasn’t busy, is unacceptable. Your staff Is walking around as if they’re just hanging out, the tables weren’t bussed, and the floors where dirty. I’m sure I would’ve waited longer, but we just walked out… Y’all get a big NOPE…

Ihop reminds me of my childhood and if it doesn’t spark the same feels within you, well then I just feel sorry for you. I think Ihop strawberry syrup is one of the most consistent things I can count on in life, along with the way their pancake have tasted the EXACTSAME for my entire existence. These are the many things I can count on. You know what else is great about Ihop, you go there knowing that the service is always going to be a bit sup-par and that you will leave smelling like a combo of bacon, pancake, and syrup. RELIABILITY! This is why Ihop gets a 5 star review from me because I can count on every Ihop everywhere to always meet these expectations. For that, I will continue to be a loyal customer. I guess it’s «write horrible update» day but I think we just lucked out with our first experience of this place because this time it was shite. Don’t ever come here on an off time, say late afternoon. The waitress was young and flitting around, talking to her friends — sitting in their booth, punching buttons on their phones — rather than, well, actually waitressing. Oh well, we were chill but our baby was antsy so it was tough. The food, ah, the food. I think during off times they just bring in a person off the street and tell them to cook. That’s how the food was. Meh, sorry, Ihop, won’t be back. But still love your smiley face fruity self. In theory.

If it’s IHOP you want, that’s exactly what you will get. You really can’t get more consistent mediocrity, except maybe at Denny’s. I had a real hankerin’ for pancakes at 11 am on a Sunday and no way was I about to wait in the usual 2 hour brunch line. So, I decided«why not go for an old classic, instead of all this bourgeois brunch nonsense,» and headed over to a trusted establishment. It was a mere 15 minute wait, and before I knew it I was seated. The lovely waitress quickly took our order, getting not one aspect wrong despite my overly complicated egg and bacon and constant switching between buttermilk, no whole wheat, no banana. While the eggs were a little too much on the buttery side for me, the rest of the meal was to perfection(considering it was IHOP). Will be going back, especially since I signed up for their club and got myself a coupon for a free full stack!

Utter crap. Scrambled eggs are fake. Lot of the food is cold. Late night, the place gets ghetto. Lots of fights. Very, very loud. Theft in the parking lot. Very long time to wait for your food. If theres a mistake or your order is screwed up, it wont be remade. Dont go here. Its one of the worst Ihops. Go to any other, but not this one.

The service was good. I could stand a bit more attention. But then I like attention. My pancakes were not hot so to fix that our waitress bought me hot syrup. I was happy. The eggs could use a tad bit more cheese. Nevertheless, my plate was completely cleaned. I enjoyed it all despite my personal preferences. My breakfast friend cleaned their plate as well. I have no major complaints. I would and will return.

Just about as good as any other IHOP. Only qualm is their parking lot is a little small but hey, it is downtown. This place is clean, the service is good, and you get your traditional, run-of-the-mill IHOP food. The food at IHOP is not good by any means but sometimes you just need a breakfast sampler and don’t want to wait in crazy Austin sunday brunch lines or bust the wallet and IHOP is here to save the day. The iced coffee is way too sweet for my liking however. Nothing wrong with this place.

Here’s the thing about your all you can eat pancakes: Fuck you. That’s as poetic as I could wax on about it.
