What’s not to love about a small brewery in the Hill Country? Fun drive, fun brewery, and great beer make for an outstanding time. I ordered a flight of seven samples and my favorite was the peanut butter stout. A flight sells for $ 10.00. Pints range in price from $ 4 – 6 mostly so it’s affordable. Checkin with your Unilocal app and receive a free mug. I’ll be back.

This is a great place to spend an evening with friends and family. Great beers at $ 4-$ 5 bucks a pint, live music and a fabulous atmosphere. Even tho just off the 620 you feel like you are in rural Texas. People are all mega friendly, will be back for sure. Suitable for kids and your hounds. Closes at 9pm.

Quickly becoming my favorite brewery in the greater Austin area. I love the casual vibe here, and there are always multiple beers here I want to drink including the Cream Ale, Amber, and IPA, in that order. This place is kid and fur kid friendly. And they throw awesome special events a few times a year, like yesterday when they had a very successful crawfish boil. Love the free popcorn and the picnic tables. The only thing I don’t love is I wish they had one more bathroom(this is minor, but as they get more popular, which is inevitable, it will be more and more necessary). All in all 5 stars, keep on doing what you are doing!

Teeny-tiny little place off the beaten path. We ordered a flight to sample everything they had to offer. Unfortunately, I didn’t love anything I tried. There were some drinkable options — the cream ale and amber. But the peanut butter porter stout fell flat. Literally. It tasted watery and flat. Once I adore, I liked the atmosphere.(The outside is a run of the mill strip mall.) The pallet walls were cool. We also appreciated the free popcorn!

Good beer choices from the seasonal to the standards! Beer flights for tasting and normal pints for the rest of us. Indoor and outdoor(seasonal) seating. Live music and plenty of fun!

I may be biased toward dog-friendly breweries, even so, this place has a peanut butter stout. When I had the pleasure of visiting on a toasty Friday afternoon, they also had a special peanut butter and jelly stout on tap! Good stuff. My dog Charlie had plenty of pups to play with. The people were all smiles and chit chat. Plenty of inside and outside picnic tables too. I recommend grabbing your favorite game, fetching your fido, and stopping by this tucked away spot at least once.

I’m glad I finally got to try this place out yesterday. After spending the hot afternoon on the lake, the idea of a nice cold beer seemed particularly appealing. Infamous Brewery had been added to my bucket list after I heard about it from Dawn H and Bobby M who are regulars. This was a quick visit just to sample a pint since we had our kids with us. They had their slurpees from 7-Eleven and popcorn from the machine at Infamous so they were all good. I got myself a glass of their Bugsy’s Fire Brush which is a nice refreshing amber ale while my wife got a glass of the Infamy. I liked them both and we were ready to purchase some to take home with us but were told they don’t sell the bottled product at the brewery. They’re available at the nearby convenience stores though.

Small brewery just outside Austin that has great beers! My friend and I were very impressed with INFAMY — their Olde Ale! The brewery is kid and dog friendly — and they often have events(with food trucks or movie nights)!

Near Lake Travis, we found an amazing brewery called Infamous Brewing. It’s extremely casual and low key, but the have some great beers! They’re likely most famous for their peanut butter stout. A little too much like dessert for me, I really wanted a scoop of ice cream in it. But it was yummy. The bartender says people do bring in quarts of ice cream just for that purpose. I dug their IPA. It’s a great stop if you’re in the area!

The first time that I had Infamous was at the Gettin Sauced BBQ Festival and I have been in love with their IPA ever since! It’s a romance that I visit whenever I buy beer from the store or go out and can find it where I am! I was lucky enough to attend their after Thanksgiving turkey fry with Dawn and Bobby! The brewery is in an obscure location that is in a commercial business park area but, it is a very cool looking brewery. The front is open and they have pallets decorating the walls and it gives it a nice rustic Texas flair. The bartender was so sweet and you can purchase t-shirts and koosies if you would like. They have tables inside but, the real jewel of this place is the outdoor space with picnic tables, fire pit and a stage. It’s really nice to see a brewery who hosts events like this because it really makes you feel like you are hanging with friends who just happen to be at a brewery making amazing fried turkey. This was my first time trying fried turkey and either it was Josh’s awesome frying skills or fried turkey is just that amazing. We brought sides as requested and sat out and enjoyed the live music and beers. This is a great place to bring some friends and enjoy some of Austin’s best beer(in my opinion). They did a great job on making this brewery somewhere you want to hang out or maybe that’s the beer that does that! Who knows but, don’t question it; just drink and enjoy!

We loved their Peanut Butter Stout! We attended a Pints for Pups event and it was really fun, hanging out with all of the dogs. My sister was training one of them to catch popcorn, he was getting good at it by the time we left. The popcorn was also good. We will be back.

Great place to stop at while driving through the hill country. Great atmosphere and good tasting beer. Samples were plentiful, definitely worth the stop. Outdoor tables provide a nice place to relax.

Decent brewery, located right next to a custom motorcycle shop, so that tends to set the vibe. Good people though, free brisket on Fridays, occasional live music and reasonably priced beer. Their Amber seems to be the best of the bunch, I’ve never liked IPAs, and I wish the Peanut Butter Stout actually tasted like peanut butter, that was a bit of a letdown. You can get a flight for $ 10 and decide which of their offerings suits you.

Let me start by saying I am NOT a beer drinker, I guess I never really acquired the taste for it, with that said, this place is great! The avid beer drinkers around me really enjoyed the flight of beers we ordered and there were even a few that I enjoyed! The atmosphere is great, prices are very reasonable, staff is extremely friendly. Definitely a hidden gem, would have never known about it if it weren’t for the billboard they recently put up. They said they have live music and food trailers occasionally, I am looking forward to attending one of those events next!

Cozy space, friendly and down-to-earth staff, dog friendly and we were there for live music and a visiting food truck. Best of all is their delicious beers! $ 10 gets you a generous sized flight with a sample of all their available beers. I’ve always enjoyed the Hijack cream ale and their IPA. The Bugsy amber surprised me because I’m not a big amber fan but I liked this one. The pumpkin seasonal was very good with subtle hints of allspice and clove. The peanut butter stout was unique and had strong notes of peanut butter. I’m not sure I’d order it as a pint, but it was fun to taste.

What a great way to spend a lazy Sat afternoon. I’ve stopped by Infamous a few times for«dessert» post Los Pinos dining(go here for great Mexican food!). They have a nice indoor bier garden if the weather is not cooperating but I’ve sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather and more importantly their wonderful selection of beers. Recently there was live music and they are dog friendly. Bartender will patiently explain their beer offerings and provide tasting as well. My favorites are the IPA and Amber. The Peanut Butter Stout sounds delicious but was not a fit for me. My wife chose their Pumpkin Pecan Seasonal and loved it. You cannot purchase beer directly from them but you can stop by the drive thru liquor store at the corner of Hudson Bend and 620 and purchase there. Specs also stocks their IPA as well. Infamous is definitely in the hidden gem category. Go here to chill out and drink their wonderful beer.

This is an updated review: This place is freaking awesome! They have done so much with the space, it’s an amazing place to enjoy an after work local beer or come out even on a Saturday. From the décor, to the food truck, to the bonfire outside. The live music is legit and the beer is too. Please support this small business and keep buying local.

More people need to find out about this small craft brew establishment located in Hudson Bend near Lake Travis just off of 620! What a gem! Great owners, great beers(can you say«Peanut Butter Stout?), good group of folks to hang out with… occasionally have live music and/or food. Always comp popcorn. Nice prices for high quality beers. Buy your own glass and you get a couple extra ounces per pour. The flights are a great place to start. Find your favorite, order a full. And be prepared to stay a while. On our first visit we were just going to «stop by»…ended up staying about 2 hours after they closed and hanging with the owners and their friends! Beware: you might get sucked in too by all the flowing beer and great conversation! A really good time! Infamous now has tastings and tours on Saturdays and Sundays from 1−5pm. Be sure to check their website or follow them on Twitter for special events and seasonal brew announcements. @InfamousBrewing
