Intersection of 1826 and US HWY 290 W

It seems like every few days there’s a new accident.
Didn’t your mother teach you not to Unilocal and drive? Should’ve known that pole was gonna jump out and wrap itself around your brand new BMW.
Anyways, if traffic is stacking up here there’s been an accident, so get ready for the long haul.
And remember no Unilocaling, texting or whatever and driving… Next time it may be you!

There is an accident here about once a week that jams up the «Y» and everything around it for miles. I am so sick of seeing cars overturned in the middle of the highway, my guess caused by people who insist on driving too fast, or trying to make left turns where its not safe. In the article in the local paper on Sunday, I see that one person died here last year.
What the fuck is wrong with people? Stop taking chances at this intersection and slow down! Isn’t there something TexDot can do to make this safer?
