Ironrock Properties

I’ve lived in two properties that Ironrock Properties has managed. When I moved to Austin I leased a house in South Austin and then moved to a Condo downtown to be closer to my job. The transfer between properties was extremely easy. I’ve gotta say that Ironrock Properties is definitely one of the good management companies, which is is the main reason I wanted to stay with them when I decided to move downtown. I really appreciate their maintenance team and really all their staff, they are quick to handle any maintenance issues I’ve had with complete professionalism. All I can say is that they have been absolutely great to lease from and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to lease a property in the Austin area.

Ironrock Properties did an Amazing job at managing my property. I didn’t have to worry about anything, they handled everything. If there were any issues they always communicated with me and solved the problem right away. Definitely will use them again if I have another property I need managed.

Ironrock Properties managed our rentals for six years. They have a back-​office portal where managers can go and see their account at any time.
They have always been honest with us, and their prices to the owner for repairing things is very reasonable. They are easy to get along with; very friendly.
Do be sure to maintain good communication. I had one displeased tenant, but in the end, I think the problem was mostly down to communication styles.
In short, they are honest and usually quickly responsive. They will save you money.
I have since tried another company that prides itself on being «the best» for one of our properties, but we turned out to be very disappointed with their follow-​through and customer service. It was far better with Ironrock.
No managenent company is perfect, I think — it’s a really tough business with an extremely tight margin. I’ve heard multiple horror stories, none of which we experienced with Ironrock.
In fact, I think they cut us all kinds of breaks and deals and bent over backwards for us multiple times.
I see there are some negative reviews here, but they seem to be left by tenants. That can happen for all managenent companies, I’m sure.
But, if you are a property owner, I don’t think you can do better at the price.

It was SO difficult working with Ironrock Properties. There are too many reasons for me to even write. I feel bad for anyone who rents a house that they are managing.

My husband and I filled out an application with this company and paid a deposit. They accepted the money and then called us the next day to tell us that they had already leased the property and only accepted our money in the event that the other person’s money/​paperwork didn’t clear. It would have been nice to know this ahead of time. As it was we had to scramble to find a place and ended up with a stressful situation. If they will be that bad before leasing I can only guess what it would be like to rent from them. I think we probably dodged a bullet.
