Jeff Gifford – Keller Williams Realty

I can’t recommend Jeff Gifford enough. I have bought and sold over 20 properties and have used many realtors, and Jeff is simply head and shoulders above the best I’ve ever had… and I have used some of the top realtors for my transactions. I’m an out of state investor/​owner, and Jeff worked with my property manager to get the tenants out while organizing a seamless remodel (all of which he oversaw & got multiple quotes on all aspects of the remodel). It’s the first remodel ever to come in at budget and on a really tight timeline for me, by the way. Then his marketing techniques… well, I don’t want to spill the beans for his competitors, but let’s just say they were creative, impactful and are pretty much guaranteed to bring about the highest/​best price for any property. Jeff is also just a nice man. I’ve yet to meet him in person, but he’s friendly, understanding, and his integrity is to be envied, if his actions are any indication. Jeff is AMAZING. Jeff goes above and beyond out of his way to help you into the house of your dreams. One time he drove an hour and a half through pouring rain to show us a house (that we didn’t get) and another time, the lock wasn’t working on a house we wanted to see and Jeff found an unlocked window, got on all fours, and let me step on his back to jump through the window to show us a house (we didn’t get that one either). Now THAT is a committed realtor! He has also been in the business for so long that he knows things that newer/​younger realtors don’t know because they just lack the experience he does. He also knows all the best electricians, plumbers, inspectors, etc. and has built good relationships over the years that he uses to your advantage. He was able to negotiate on our behalf and was SO FAST getting everything done, I couldn’t believe it. He is also there to look out for your best interest. His motto is something like, «Your job is to fall in love with a house and my job is to make sure you don’t make a mistake.» At one point, we were under contract for a house and Jeff had to break it to us that this house was not a good investment. As hard as that was to hear– he did the right thing. After months of working with us, he was never impatient or pushy, and we FINALLY got our house. Right location, right house, and at the right price! We couldn’t be happier and would happily recommend Jeff to everyone we know looking to buy or sell a house in Austin.

Jeff was exceptional in a difficult sale. I would use him and recommend him anytime. He’s a real people-​person and conscientious.
