I am extremely careful on choosing a repair service of any kind. I have been burned too many times from those that overcharge, do not show up or do not show up when they said they would, did not fix things as promised, etc. If you are like like me and want an honest, dependable and excellent repair service — then you must call Jerry’s Home Appliance Service. I used him once again last week and, as usual, all my expectations were meet! Johnny will come when scheduled, is very nice but does not waste time, clean, and very knowledgeable about all your home appliances. I will not call anyone else — his contact information is on my refrig!!!

Jerry is now officially in my little black book and I actually considered keeping him out of the Unilocal spotlight for fear of never being able to get ahold of him after he is in hundreds more black books… When an appliance breaks, I usually enter this no-man’s land call«appliance limbo» which is similar to purgatory. Can it be repaired or do I buy a new one? Do i trust the repair guy or is he getting a kickback from the appliance company? Why does their«window of availability» usually mean I am waiting around for 4 hours? Why don’t they have the part in their truck? How long will this take? Until last week I had met every bozo in the book usually through a Home Warranty Service or through an appliance warranty(Sears comes to mind). Bozos. I wish I had Jerry’s number years ago. Warrantyless means you can actually find someone who may have a passion for fixing appliances, not just selling you a new one. Jerry seems to truly love what he does… he makes fixing appliances look easy. He shows up on time, he has a sweet demeanor, he does what he says he will do. He is NOT cheap. $ 228 to fix an ice maker is NOT cheap. But he did it, which is more than I can say for my friendly handyman after fiddling with it for 3 weeks. Appliances these days come with microchips and motion sensors and LOTS of complicated stuff that can go wrong… He services most brands of kitchen and laundry appliances. So stop fiddling with your own stuff and call this nice guy in my little black book to service you. If I cannot find him, I guess I will know where he is…

Jerry was recommended to me by James Beardsley Appliance Service. Over the phone, he told me how to «reboot» my broken front-loader, and it worked! I owe you, Jerry!
