I was referred to Dr. Powell for knee pain I was experiencing following a motorcycle wreck, and I’m glad that I was. He has a sense of humor that put me at ease immediately. He listened to me and was exceedingly approachable.
He recommended and MRI as a precaution. When I called his office to ask if he’d gotten the results the receptionist took the message. Within the hour Dr. Powell had called me back personally to discuss the results.
Despite a not-so-sunny diagnosis this was one of the more pleasant doctor/patient relationships I can remember having.
