I was referred to Dr Cone by one of his acupuncture students after I was sandwiched in a 6 car pileup on I-​35. I suffered what my primary care doctor and X-​rays confirmed: severe whiplash. It was Halloween night, and I was dressed as the Host from The Hunger Games. I like to say, ‘SHE HIT ME SO HARD, SHE KNOCKED MY WIG OFF!’, playfully, but it literally did happen. It landed on the rear dash of my Passat — which held up incredibly well, considering.
The onset of pain two days later was sudden and intense. Migraine headaches, neck spasms, thoracic and lumbar back pain was problematic during my first few sessions… But it was gradually getting better, then we started stretching the days out more and mor until I finished treatment last week. I’d say he did an outstanding job medically, but even more unique was his compassion and level of friendliness. Easy to talk with, understanding and respectful, I wish my primary care doc were so capable and pleasant to see!!! He performed a wide range of treatments beyond spinal manipulation, including acupuncture… wow, what an elating experience! Electro stimulation, heat applications, assisted stretching, massage, and provided education for at home stretches and exercise.
Recovery was complicated by my preexisting degenerative discs, and my lack of homework. But, he did an amazing job. I’ve seen many chiropractors in my day. Dr Cone is the man!!!
They billed my insurance directly making this even more seamless. Finally, Dr Cone is very responsive to calls and emails.
