Julia and I have been working together for just over a year now and in that time I can both feel and see the dramatic shift my life has taken. She has taught me that through kindness and compassion I could learn to love myself again. I truly feel that I met myself for the first time through our work together. 2015 has been the most pivotal year of my life and I have Julia, myself and my husband to thank for it. Therapy isn’t easy. In my experience it breaks you down before it builds you back up. Having someone you can trust in your corner to help pick up the pieces when you fall, to praise you for the smallest accomplishments and to remind you that you can do it and that you are worth it, that is what Julia is for me. When you make the same mistakes over and over again, she is there to love and guide you through it. When you can’t see how great of a job you are doing, she is there to remind you and cheer you on. And one day, when you are willing and able to recognize all of your accomplishments, she is there to celebrate with you. If you are struggling in any way, therapy and Julia may be exactly what you are looking for. I can’t sing her praises enough. If you are ready to find yourself, she is ready to help you through your journey.

In my opinion, everyone can benefit from a good therapist. I wish my mother would take that to heart… But I digress. I needed to find a therapist who could help me with an anxiety issue most likely stemming from PTSD. Julia and I have been working together for quite a few months now and I haven’t had a single anxiety attack since before our first session together. And along the way, I’ve learned so much about myself and am just generally a happier, healthier person because of my one hour a week with Julia. If you’re looking for a kind, compassionate therapist, Julia is fantastic.
