Jumpoline Park

We recently had our End of Season party for our base ball team here. It was perfect. We let the kids play and had a party room where the adults could sit and enjoy each other’s company. The only thing that would make this place better is if they would let you bring in your own food.

Go on a Wednesday after school and you’re kids have the place to themselves. Family pack ⁴⁄₂₀ is a great way to let the kids burn off that energy.

Great family place. Lots to do to keep kids moving. Kids make friends. Play popcorn with each other. Tag. They are coaching each other in tumbling. They can play jump dodgeball. Great areas for younger players too. Great little inflatable train and obstacle course. 5 dollars for a 5 year old. Right after school on a cold Tuesday. She’s having a blast!

My kids (7 and 10) really love coming here. It’s clean, well-​run, reasonably priced, and — importantly to me — provides a day’s worth of exercise in an hour and a half… resulting mercifully in some more relaxed kiddos afterward. Great option for cold or rainy days, when the kids are bouncing off the walls at home, and need to shoot off some steam. We’ve been about 5 times, and overcrowding has never been a concern.
So many of these type places have nothing for kids under 5 or 6, but this place has a very cool dedicated area on the side for the very young kids, which — again — I’ve never seen too crowded.
As a small suggestion, however, I think it’d be wise to have a bit more monitoring/​policing of the dodgeball area. I’ve seen a few too many 7 – 8 year olds take some pretty big hits from overly-​aggressive teens. Definitely keep an eye out if you have a child under 10 or so playing dodgeball. I could see some value perhaps of having on occasion separate dedicated play time for U10 (ie, 30 mins of open playtime for any age, followed by 10 or 15 mins of play restricted to U10??)

My 10 year old son LOVES this place! You don’t have to be invited to a birthday party to come here and hang out, and there’s always dodgeball going on in the back. They have wifi (I’m writing the review from here), so parents can get work done or browse the web. It’s also a great place to come on a rainy weekend or holiday afternoon to burn off some steam.
They don’t want you to bring outside food, but they don’t seem to mind if grownups bring coffee since they don’t offer it. Overall, a great hang out for the 12 and under set.

OK so I’ve taken my kids here before. A couple times and had HORRIBLE EXPERIENCES. I’m happy to say this time almost everything I complained about was literally taken care of. The music is much more age appropriate. The jumpers we’re being monitored. The rules were being enforced. My kids are having a blast. I’m happy too.
I see the WiFi isn’t in question anymore either… which luckily I don’t need it today. I hope this stays this way. Its so much nicer than it used to be.
I appreciate a good place to allows my little ones to release some energy.

Kids had a blast & we’re wore out! Kiddie area for 5 & under was great even for 18mo old. Price was good. Low key & lots of space for parents to sit & watch. Open space nice to keep eye on kids. Could use a little cleaning.

This was a great place to take my 2 year old nephew. He had so much fun running around and jumping. I’m sure he was sad to go. It’s great how big the whole area is. And I love that you have to go with socks, so much cleaner. There also are people yelling at you every time you do something wrong. Most other places always have rude staff doing that, this place was not the case. The staff was nice and not breathing I’ve us. I have told my sister in law to take him back!

Don’t have your child’s birthday party here!!! They suck to work with.
I scheduled my daughter’s birthday party almost a month in advance. I had to call to confirm the day before my party. I let the girl who answered the phone know that I was going to have Chick fil A cater because my daughter wont eat pizza. She said, very snooty to me, «you have to buy your pizza through us» without any alternative. She continued «here’s my manager but he’s going to tell you the same thing» before I even took a breath to respond. The manager on the phone says, «yeah that is correct and you are welcome to cancel your party with us if you like.» I’m sitting on the other end of the phone stunned before I could think of something to say. It was too late to reschedule so I complied, though he had no reason as to why there could not be an exception. The manager said, «we will come to you 30 minutes or so so you can order the pizza.» I Cancelled the catering (my daughter, the birthday girl didn’t eat the pizza by the way). I arrived 15 minutes early. No one helped or hosted. The girl behind the desk said, «we are just here if you have any questions.» I had to ask for the braceletes, where the party was and I had to go back to make sure she ordered the pizza because no one approached me for the order. The only time I saw someone come to the party area was when they handed me my bill. $ 255.00 for the space and 7 jumpers. The manager didn’t even offer a smile when he gave me the bill. I’m very unhappy with the staff.
The place itself is fun for the kids. I would return only as jumpers and not to have a party. I have used several birthday party venues for my kids through out the years and by far this was the worst experience that I have had. The place is poorly managed and the staff are undertrained.

Want to get your kids tired so they can nap later and you can get stuff done? Well look no further than Jumpoline! Great sized main jumping area with a smaller one off the side for toddlers. There is even an inflatable play area and a dodge ball jumping area. Looks like a great place to have a birthday party as well!

I went here with my toddler during a weekday. Actually, it was a great place for him to run around and get his energy out. There was only a few other families there and all were small children who were closely supervised. The price was great ($ 5) and he had a great time.
Despite this, I’m giving only three stars for a number of reasons. 1) the place smelled horribly of sweat and feet. 2) there was literally no supervision from staff members. The kid behind the counter barely acknowledged us to take our money and then immediately went back to his video game. 3) I cannot imagine what this place is like during peak times. The trampolines are so close together and I’m sure the kids do not have to take turns. It seems like it could be dangerous. 4) they don’t allow any outside food or drinks inside which means we can’t stay too long because we would not pay for the unhealthy overpriced snacks.
Overall, I would recommend bringing your preschooler to this place during non-​peak times and making sure to supervise them (and jump with them – a great workout!). Use hand sanitizer and don’t forget to bring your socks!

I don’t think I would like this place during peak times, but slow weeknights are great. My timid 3 ½ year old was nervous at first, but once she watched me and all the other kid’s jumping for awhile, she decided to take the plunge. Within minutes, she was running and jumping like a pro. We both had a lot of fun, but I don’t think either of us would have enjoyed going if it had been busy with parties and such. I think there were about 20 jumpers total and it was nice.
The employees were very unfriendly, but I’m used to that. They weren’t rude per se, but 2 watched us walk out the door at the end and didn’t even say bye or thanks. Actually, now that I type it, that was rude. Anyway, it didn’t ruin anything because my toddler was oblivious and I was happy she had had so much fun. We will be going back for sure. It’s a great ab workout!

I took my son here for a friends birthday party. I guess this is a fun place for the kids. I didn’t like the fact that full size kids and adults get to bounce with the little ones. There are too many opportunities for an accident to take place and zero supervision. As far as Jumpoline is concerned, as long as you sign their legal waiver, the responsibility for safety is completely on you. Rule and safely signs are posted everywhere but what kid reads or cares about them? Watch your kids like a hawk if you take them here, especially if they’re under 10.

From a former employee:
The Good:
–cheap fun is fine for toddler and elementary-​aged kids;
–few rules enforced is good for those who will watch their own kids; and
–nice location if you live in North Austin.
The Bad:
–cheap fun means poor air circulation, dust everywhere, and a lot of exposed metal on the trampolines;
–general managers/​owners are amateurs putting in little of value and earning NO respect from customers and staff;
–general managers/​owners are often marijuana-​scented or stumbling over themselves at work;
–several songs have cussing in them, which is surprising because Niki Minaj sure seems like a children’s entertainer; and
–if you don’t watch your kids, nobody else will.
The Personal Advice:
–if you can make the drive and pay the couple extra bucks, go to JumpStreet (I had a great time there as an adult);
–when you have a party here, sneak out without paying the tab… they will call you once and never pursue the balance again; and
–laugh at the non-​neon-​clad guys behind the counter when they sleep at the desk… these are the top dogs at this company.

Fun stuff. Wore both kids out in a little more than an hour, and I got to do a fair amount of bouncing myself (be careful with this when you are 40+). It’s nice and clean and there are enough trampolines that you can usually find some empty space. It was just starting to get overcrowded when a birthday party started, and that cleared out most of the trampolines for a good spell.
I don’t know if we did this right, but we only paid for the kids. I felt like I jumped enough to feel like I should have paid too. Either way, it’s a good way to kill an hour and exhaust kids on a hot or rainy day.

I have taken my daughter to Jumpoline several times and had her birthday party there last weekend. I want to say that the staff was absolutely wonderful with her party.
When I called the day before, the guy on the phone told me that I could come at 10 to set up, but really they would probably be open by 9:45 if I wanted to come earlier. He said I could knock on the door and he’d let me in. When I arrived that day, he offered to help me carry in my things and let me know that our party area wasn’t reserved again immediately after our party so we didn’t have to worry about lingering a little at the end which was very cool of them. When he saw that all my decorations were My Little Pony he even re-​printed the little Happy Birthday sign with my daughter’s name on it to include a little picture of a pony. So thoughtful! I wish I had gotten his name because he was amazing. The other staff were helpful and pleasant as well.
The only thing that bugs me about Jumpoline is that it’s always hotter than I’d like. I mean, it’s not a horribly expensive activity but it’s not cheap either. I wish they’d suck it up and pay for the a/​c to be turned down a little more. It’s a really physical activity and it’d be nice if we all ended up a little less sweaty.
Oh, and fair warning — the music is lots of dancey pop, Kidz Bop kind of stuff. I am not holding it against them because it’s what the kids want. My daughter and her friends love it. Just be prepared to hear a lot of Top 40.

My kids love it. Music is good. That is what really counts.
Staff is all young kids who really don’t seem to care about anything.
Bench waiting area for parents in uncomfortable and I never know the password to their wifi so I burn up a lot of battery using my cell service :(

Do you want to jump on a gigantic trampoline the size of an Olympic swimming pool? Do you want to fly through the air like a limp noodle, acting out your childhood fantasy of joining the US Gymnastics Team?
Do you want to be sore in places you didn’t know existed the next day?
Do you like WHIPLASH???
Then come on down to Jumpoline Park, where everyone reverts at least 20 years! Picture running at a full sprint all the way across a gymnasium, then launching yourself feet-​first into the wall and performing a perfect backflip before bouncing to a stop. Picture an epic dodgeball tournament, where players are instantly transformed into video game characters who can jump ten feet in the air, assaulting their opponents with a hailstorm of rubber balls.
…Yeah, I’d go back.

Unfortunate that such a simple but cool concept can result in a bad experience due to poor execution.
I am not sure what was more irritating, the tragically trashy tatted up, butchy mcarmstrong who felt the needs to work out some of her adult aggression by hurling dodge balls at the faces of 5 – 9 year old boys and girls OR the (lack of a) response by the staff when we called this to their attention. Let me give you a cue for the future a) Adults should never be allowed to play in the dodge ball area and b) the staff needs to know that willfully harming someone’s child in a play area is not justified by any of your lame rationalizations. «Maybe she didn’t know her own strength.» Really?!?
We may go to Jumpstreet in Cedar Park but not to this place. The location alone makes it a fly strip, attracting that element of society that finds a way to ruin places and experiences for so many of the rest of us.

Went to this place today and I thought it was great. I’ve been to SkyZone in Vegas so I expected it to be a bit bigger, but once we got out there we had a blast.
I was with 4 adults, and there were several birthday parties going on. There was still plenty of room out on the court for both adults and children.
There is a separate jump area for tiny ones and a dodgeball court. There are very clear signs posted that Jumpoline is an extreme sport and to be cautious when jumping. I noticed the unsupervised children (or maybe their parents were on the side watching) really just ran around like crazy, probably leading to more injuries. If you have a 5+ year old, I might warn them to not really run to the small area we were taking up if adults are flipping. There were some near collisions.
I think Jumpoline does a good job with pricing ($ 7/​hour and $ 3 after that). We were worn out after 45 minutes.
Oh and the music was kind of awesome. Pretty neat.
