We went to all the saltwater fish stores in Austin. Just Reef far surpassed all of them. The store is small, but their customer service is off the chart. The owner stayed 40 minutes past closing time to help us out. He seems to know much more than his competitors.
We will definitely be driving 40 minutes out of the way, to go to this store from now on.

What a great place! Today was our first visit to Just Reef and we were quite impressed with both the health of the livestock, but also Aaron’s knowledge and enthusiasm for saltwater and reef animals. His specialty clownfish selection is the best I have seen to date. I highly recommend visiting Just Reef to anyone looking for clean and healthy corals, and a limited but cool selection of saltwater fish.

Wonderful customer service, Aaron knows what he is talking about and has yet to try and sell something we do not need.
He offers free water testing and was nice enough to offer us the use of his jars when we realized we forgot ours!
I love coming here as he always has a story about the fish that makes me smile or a picture of his adorable German Shepard. You can see he is passionate and it’s nice to know that passion carries over into your own tank!
I would recommend this place for its personal touch any day.

Great customer service! We’re just starting our saltwater tank, Aaron and Omar helped with EVERTHING. They’re very kind here and can answer any question. (And I have ALOT!) they have a great selection of fish and live rock to choose from and at a much better price then the pet store down the street. I will DEFINITELY be back.

I would love to tell you about everything they have inside and the great prices. However is 11:10 on a Thursday and the doors are locked and the lights are off. Hours say open at 11am on the door. I guess that’s not the case. Back to Lockhart I drive. Empty handed.

So I have a fresh water aquarium, but I wandered in here because my husband wants a coral garden.
The staff was awesome and very helpful. They offered to help up set up a salt water tank and as soon as we find a good spot for the set up, we will be back.
Awesome selection.
I highly recommend these guys for your salt water needs.

So I been here two time really like the place the owner and staff are really nice and know there stuff. The owner has been helping I got a bad Brown algae and hair algae because of bad water quality I was using. So I got 15 gallons of there high quality water and salt wow I can all ready see a difference my corals are practically twice the size in just two days. the prices are very reasonable I think I will be regularly coming here for a long time.
