K & M Steam Cleaning

Just had K&m out to clean my carpets and the did an amazing job! Ruben was super nice, I will definetly be using them again and recommending them!

Ruben and Nate were great! They came in and did the job as a team. They cleaned the air ducts, which was a little on the expensive side. The house is 23 years old and never been cleaned. Mold was found in one room. Ruben showed it to me and then removed and treated it. The price was high, but it is because there are 16 vents and 2 returns. The carpet was wet for a long time, but I expected that.

These guys are really the best. I’ve tried different companies throughout the years, and this one is by far the best price, best product, and best customer service. I will always use K & M and recommend them to anyone I know.

The two, friendly and personable technicians showed up within 30 minutes of the scheduled time (a reasonable window and I was called ahead of time to let me know they were on their way). They cleaned my 3 rooms at the advertised rate and a couple of extra area rugs in SUPER FAST time and everything looked great. I’ll use them again. Very reasonable, especially with the advertised special.

Sam and John just left and they were fast, detailed, and very considerate to our needs

I just ran across an ad in the back of the Community Impact Newspaper that states «Stonework Done Right» and this just makes my blood boil!
6 years ago, we had K&M come out to our house to strip and restore our slate floors. They told me they knew how to do this, but it was very apparent that after several attempts to just strip the floors, they didn’t know what they were doing. I spoke with Ken several times, he even came to the house to look at the progress. I asked for a complete refund after 2 weeks of «trying», because the work was not getting done, his response was, «No and that one of his guys had to go to the hospital because his hands were peeling so bad because of the solvent used, that he wouldn’t be able to work for a couple of weeks.» I never received any type of refund and had to hire another company to come and do the job correctly!
From the ad in the paper, maybe they got proper training to do stone floors, I guess I was their «tester client» and scammed out of $ 800 to boot.
Don’t trust Ken! His work is obviously NOT guaranteed!

I would give this zero or below zero starts! I used the service twice and the services were fine. This time I called to reschedule the appointment because it might rain and I might want to reschedule in case it rains. I CANNOT believe this is the owner that saying this to me. He said I want you to speak it slow and I don’t think you understand English!!! How rude!!!

Co-​worker recommended the service and the pricing started off competitive to clean 2×2. Then I got called the company to see if there any extra charges. Yes depends on the number of stories you have or which level you live on. This wasn’t a factor at many other service locations. The reviews look decent but I couldn’t get past the initial step. If you want to be the «stanely steemer’ of the area. You will need to offer competitive pricing even compared to their website.

Wow! My tile floors look better than ever. I was skeptical of the price and advertised results but Ken explained in detail the importance of the cleaning, restoring and sealant process of tile and now I’m amazed how much better they look and feel.

Had our carpets cleaned on 11−18−15 and paid extra for the heavy degreaser. The carpets had a lot of pet stains from the previous home owner. They were able to get all of the stains out. A strange alkaline spot formed on the carpet about 1 – 2 weeks later and they came back and sprayed a solution on it and then it looked perfect. They did this after the warranty period of 10 days for free which I thought was really nice of them and I would defiantly use them again in the future.

K & M are awesome to work with! Ken was super friendly when we scheduled the appointment — very thorough in explaining the services that would be performed. Ruben and Eddie performed the vent cleaning — were helpful and courteous. Our entire experience was flawless — would highly recommend K & M!

Ruben and Nick were at my home in Round Rock on Nov 4,2015. I had never hired a steam cleaning company before, but neighbors recommended K & M so I made an appointment. Ruben and Nick were very contentious and respectful of me and my home. They did such a great job on the carpet and I had them clean the bathroom floors while they were here.

I’ve been using K&M for years, and I’d never switch. They’re professional, efficient, affordable — I use them to clean both carpeting and furniture — and the office staff is superb. Before trying K&M (courtesy of a coupon), I’d used a number of other cleaners, but none is as reliable and as consistently first-​rate as this company. They get my highest recommendation.

They answered the phone quickly early in the morning and were super friendly. I made an appointment for that day, they called and said they were running ahead and asked if I wanted to move up my appointment, which was actually better for me. They finished quickly, gave great advice on how to treat stains and now my carpet is clean and fluffy.

As a landlord, I’ve dealt with my fair share of steam cleaning businesses. After reading Unilocal reviews, I recently tried K & M and used a $ 69 3-​room coupon I found their website. The appointment process went okay and the cleaners showed up on-​time to my vacant property. They immediately called me to tell me the home smelled of a dog and that «just steam cleaning the carpet will make the smell worse». They recommended using a special Pet Enzyme that cost $ 35/​room (guaranteed) or $ 25/​room one time treatment. I balked. Their website says «Free pre-​treatment and deodorizer included» in the $ 69 coupon. I knew the previous tenants had pets, but had not actually been in the home to smell it (had pics to see the carpet had no bad stains though). After trying to talk the guy down to what I considered a more reasonable $ 10/​room, and against my better judgement, I okayed the $ 25 enzyme treatment. I also called the K&M company and complained about what I considered «Bait and switch» and asked for the owner to call me. It has been a week and no phone call. I checked out the carpet and it doesn’t smell like they used any deodorizer on the carpet-​maybe just a pet enzyme? There are cheaper and better carpet companies out there.

Jose came today on very short notice, like 30 mins and did an amazing job cleaning 3 rooms. I recommend k & m for when you need an excellent cleaning service performed by very skilled and kind people.

My carpets are nice and clean! They are still very wet, but I figure that they need more time. even though its been 5 hours. they did say 4−6hours. hope by the morning they will be nice and dry. The gentleman did a great job and were very professional. I plan to use them again in 6 months. With my 856sq ft dog treated and enzyme treated, and third floor fee, it cost 199.00 (and some change?) .
took them maybe 30 min to do? fyi. I would advice doing it early in the morning and being out of the house all day. Does such having to wear shoes indoors because it’s so wet.

It goes something like this… I open the door and two techs come in. We chat for a while about the very dirty kitchen grout.
None of us seem to know which chemical is right for the job. Should we try a test spot? No, let’s do the whole floor first, and then figure out what to do next.
Oh, shucks, that didn’t seem to work. Well, we can certainly do it again with a different chemical and charge you a second time.
Nope, I think I will let your competitor have a go.

We had K&M come out in August to clean carpets right before moving into our new house. The house had previously been rented out, so the carpets were in bad shape. K&M did an amazing job.
Well, with small kids and pets, we had some spots come up and wanted to get the carpets cleaned again before having family come for the holidays. The techs seemed nice and professional. We asked them to call us when they were done, so we could return home. We returned 3 hours later to an empty house and unlocked front door. To make matters worse, the carpets don’t look great at all. You can still smell cat pee and see spots that should have easily come out. I’ve used Rug Doctors before for cat issues, and ALWAYS gotten the smell out. The smell is now FAR worse than before they came… and our cats have been outside since they left. I have no clue what work they did and if they did the stain guarding we paid an extra $ 60 for. Very unhappy with our 2^nd experience and hope to hear back after leaving a message.

K&M just left my house less than an hour ago and I feel compelled to write a review– I had used Stanley Steemer for years but their prices keep going up and quality keeps going down, so I used K&M today for the first time based on reviews and price.
Scheduling: I called 3 days ago, got a price over the phone and they booked the time I requested. I got a call to let me know the technicians were on their way 30 minutes in advance today, as promised (some companies promise it but never call!).
Freddie & Nate introduced themselves, had me show them the rooms being cleaned, and were very thorough and explained exactly what they were doing.
The price was exactly what I was quoted on the phone.
BUT… here is the main reason I’m writing a review– the 2 gentlemen took the time to dig 2 pieces of chewed up gum out of my 4-​year-​old son’s carpet! If the stains from juice and popsicles in the living room weren’t bad enough.ugh. They were super nice about it and didn’t leave until everything was perfect.
I will be a repeat customer and will not hesitate to recommend them to friends & colleagues.
