if you are in need of a good massage, I highly recommend Kim. Though her specialty is prenatal massage, don’t let that deter you if you’re not pregnant. Kim is capable of addressing any issue. Her experience, wide variety of techniques and intuition combine to offer one of the best massages in the city. Kim stays very present during the session and this awareness helps her uncover and address problem areas. There’s no doubt you’ll feel better when you leave. Moreover, she’s a lovely person to spend an hour with.

FANTASTIC experience !! If I could schedule Kim every week I would. Unfortunately, I introduced my husband to Kim’s expertise and now we fight over who gets to go. I think what I like most is how comfortable I am when I am there. The location is great as well as the space. She asks what I need that day and I walk out feeling like a new person with a big smile on my face.

Pregnant ladies (or anyone, for that matter) wanting a massage, take it from a mom two-​times over who got this recommendation from a friend who is a mom three-​times over — Kim Myrick gives the best prenatal (and regular) massage in Austin. Her massages feel so awesome, not only do my muscles get wonderfully kneaded and stretched into relaxation, it calms my mind, and it all feels so good that I get that tingling sensation in my head that’s hard to describe. It feels like a brain massage. If you’ve ever experienced this, you know what I’m talking about and I don’t need to explain further how amazing that feels.
But I’ll go on anyhow. Because she also has a table that she can convert with a special mattress for prenatal massage so that moms-​to-​be can lie on their front side — ahhhh. I haven’t been able to do that for months. It has holes cut out in the mattress for your belly and um, the girls. I feel like an egg in a carton when I lie on that table. And when you start out on your backside, she has you propped up on a wedge pillow behind your back and a bolster pillow under your knees so you never feel a strain or uncomfortable pressure on your back — it is very comfortable and, more importantly, keeps pressure from baby from cutting off your circulation.
Other massage therapists claim to be able to do prenatal massage. I’m sure they can. But can they do it as well and comfortably as Kim? I’m willing to bet no. Kim has the magic touch and the magic table. She wins, hands (ha) down.
