I have stayed in one of their cabins twice, each time for a month or more. The place is pretty and I appreciate the dog park that is fenced. The pool is nice. The bathrooms clean and the laundry room is convenient. The problem that I have is that BOTHTIMES I stayed, they kept my deposit when I checked out! After the first time that I lost my deposit, we thought we would go above-and-beyond in order to get the deposit back. We spent two days cleaning before checking out. This time they would have no reason to keep my money.(Or so I thought!) Surprise! AGAIN, they kept a large part of my deposit. They said it was because the baking soda that we sprinkled on the carpet and then vacuumed was apparent. WHAT? I thought cleaning up was a good thing? I will stay here again, if I am desperate. But for the most part, I think this place is more expensive than it should be. And if you are going to keep someone’s deposit, dream up an excuse that is actually believable.

This is a beautiful RV Park, BUT the managers are the most foul mouth, belligerent sober people I have ever met. I have met people who are more belligerent, but they have all been drunk. They are a husband and wife team who regularly engage in gossip with residents they favor about residents that they(for whatever reason) do not like. The wife is particularly foul mouthed. She curses like a drunken sailor and her personality would be more appropriate for some other type of work where she would not have contact with human beings. I once spoke to them about someone allowing their dog to do his business in our yard and I was told«If you don’t like it get the fuck out.» I could not believe they spoke to me that way, but I soon learned that this is par for the course with them. There is one woman who harasses people to the tune of 4 residents that I know of moving because of her harassment. For some reason that I don’t understand, the managers always side with her and permit her to harass others. When this woman got around to harassing me and my son, we tried to speak to the managers about it and the wife was rude as usual and when I told them that I had gone to paralegal school, the wife called me a pile of shit. They routinely threaten to kick people out for minor infractions and I have seen them bluff people into leaving without any notice whatsoever. People who do not know the law believe the lies they are told and move out with one day notice because they are afraid of being arrested for trespassing. This is illegal eviction, but most people who do not know the law unfortunately comply and leave in haste. I would recommend living under a bridge above moving into Lake Travis Inn and RV Park. The sewer system will leave your entire RV smelling like sewage due to poor upkeep. I did not know if the owners knew how the managers were treating people so I did found their phone number and called to speak to the owner, only to discover that she fully supports the abuse of power exercised by her atrocious managers. Nasty disgusting people who run a nasty disgusting RV Park. Avoid it like the plague.

I stayed at the park for almost a year while working in Austin. This isn’t the«upscale» park a mile down the road, the residents are mainly working adults. Most of whom are hardworking, honest, quiet and respectful of one another. I found the park to be relatively clean, quiet and comfortable. The lots are a little narrow, but well shaded and ample size for living in. The wash rooms are a little dated, but were never out of order while I was there. The sewer system, water and cable TV worked with no issues. The one dumpster is a little small for the number of residents and could use a second one. I only saw trash piled up like that once during my stay, it was around the time the neighbors across the street(outside of the park) left. I was never«harassed» by the management as other reviewers have claimed, in fact quite the opposite. The management kept an eye on my trailer when I was traveling between home/work, were friendly and often took the time to stop and chat a while when they saw you. If anyone had a bad experience with Ronnie or Suzie, it was more than likely due to some misconduct on their part. The management strictly enforced the speed limit, which is understandable due to the number of children around the park. They also enforced cleaning up after your pets. With RVs close to one another, it only makes sense. If/when I have to go back to Austin for work, this park is my first choice for staying at. The monthly rental and electricity rates are reasonable, a friendly staff and good neighbors make this a hidden gem.

I lived in this RV park for 2 years. Most of the residents were very nice and friendly. Now, the managers is a totally different story. They seem to have one of the residents to «police» the park, who seems to have total liberty to harass, stock and intimidate residents whom she don’t like till they move out. The managers, a man and a woman, seems to care less for the residents. The response to any question or concern will be «if you don’t like it, find another place.» There is a total lack of profesionalism and abuse of power. I suggest that you look around for other places.

We have spent winters in this RV park for six years. Why do we come back year after year? There are several reasons. 1) The friendly, helpful managers who have given the park a «family» atmosphere. 2) The trees, shrubs and flowers. I’m from the Pacific Northwest so I greatly appreciate the green. 3) Reasonable rates. I list price last because, while it is important to the budget, my first two«reasons» are far more important to us. We have been full-time RVers since 2006 and Lake Travis Inn and RV is, hands down, our favorite. Myrna S Branam

Tucked away on a side street off of Hudson Bend Rd is this lovely little RV Park. It is mainly comprised of long-term residents, but they often have spaces open for a night or two. The park is pretty basic. There is a front section and a gated back section(the back 40 as it’s called), with a community garden. There is a nice pavilion and good laundry facilities(though small). There are no shared bathrooms or showers on site, so be prepared to do that in your rig. At the front of the property is a section of hotel rooms. These are rented by the month. If you are looking for the fancy resort-type of RV park, go on down the road to La Hacienda. If you are looking for a nice, quiet place, with tons of mature oak trees to shade your rig, come here. Management is very nice. This is our second stay(multiple months) and we are very happy here.
