Great location, lots of parking, very clean and modern salon (with an Austin Vibe) and once Kate does your hair you won’t want anybody else. Kate is nice, down to earth and is truly passionate about making you and your hair look great and she’s got the experience to do it. I have thick, messy long hair that has defeated many a weaker stylist but Kate tames my hair beast without breaking a sweat and the products she has for sale are amazing and actually affordable!

The Last Satellite is a charming salon in The 704 building by Broken Spoke. I absolutely love coming to this salon because Kate always makes me feel at home while I am getting my hair done. She has been cutting my hair for quite some time now and always makes me happy! I don’t feel nervous at all in her chair. She is a pro at hair cutting! Thanks Kate!

Kate is the best! She really listens to what you want and takes her time to get it right. She’s also sweet and fun to be around. I’m so happy with the cut and coloring that I’ve gotten from her and she’s also great with bang trims! (You gals with bangs know how hard it can be to find this sometimes!). I highly recommend her. Also, her salon is clean, laid back and chic. You feel a little like you’re hanging out with her in her home… like an upscale, modern Steel Magnolias– next to Broken Spoke! Overall an awesome experience.

Relaxing, clean and personalized salon experience. Reasonable, comparative prices. Easy parking. Refreshments available (that’s important to me.) I recommended Kate to a neighbor friend whose stylist had moved to Costa Rica, and now she regularly visits Last Satellite. I’m now recommending Kate to all the Unilocalers and Facebookers in Austin. That’s you. Trust her to listen to what you are going for in that next look. When not in the salon, she is on sight at events and fashion shoots so her skills are diverse. Located near the Broken Spoke on South Lamar.

Last satellite is a chic and inviting salon in a new upcoming south lamar. Kate’s been cutting my hair for a while and has never disappointed. She has done a great job cutting my hair when it was short and now as I’m trying to grow it out. You’ll leave feeling and looking good. Guys, the girls will notice.

I got a fabulous haircut from Kate, as I always do. My haircut looks great from the day I get it and it is easy for me to style it as it grows out. Her new salon, Last Satellite, is classy and spare. It is easily accessed at a light on South Lamar, where parking is available for retail clients. I recommend Kate not just because I love my haircut, but also because I love my haircut experience.
