Just finished class with Cynthia today. Very fun, personable class. This is the second class I’ve taken, far better than the first one. Very professional setting, very clean. Time went by super fast.

Came here a few weeks ago for CPR training (BLS) for nursing school. I followed the directions to get here but with traffic in the morning coming from RR/​Georgetown area it took me 1.5 hrs to get here and that was with taking the toll road.
This location and the previous location were both hard to find.
TIP: to find it, its in the pink bldg. but has a separate entrance in the back. Do not use the front entrance.
Class: pretty quick. goes as fast as is possible. It was more pleasure-​able this go round than it was last time with Seth. I don’t recall the guy that taught the class this go round but he was a funny guy.

Love working with Seth & Bobby. Very professional and they make their class fun and engaging. At The Learning Pad, we send all of our students to Life Sustaining Training who need their BLS and we only work with Life Sustaining Training. All of our students always have great things to say about their training there.
If you need to take a CPR course, this is where to take it.

If you need an ACLS certification then this is the place to go. I’m a travel nurse who needed an ACLS certification for my next assignment. I was a little intimidated about passing the certification, because I can’t read an ECG to save my life and know little about ACLS drugs. Seth and Robert put those fears to rest. They were great instructors and presented the material in an easy to understand fashion. You could tell they knew ACLS inside and out. They both have tons of experience and have been in the medical field for a long time as RN’s. They teach you only what you need to know and I picked up the information pretty quick. Thanks to Seth and Robert I feel I have the tools now to perform ACLS.

I went to renew my BLS for nursing school. I took the early class (8:30 AM — 1 PM). Let me just say that this class didn’t feel long at all! We had such an awesome instructor (Adele), he definitely made the time fly by. He taught us a little more than we needed to know, but that was GREAT! I really enjoyed the small class size.
The place was kind of hidden, so make sure you give yourself a good amount of time to find the place. =)

In fourteen years of ICU nursing I have had a lot of ACLS sessions. This year I decided to try something different and go to an ACLS renewal class given by Life Sustaining Training. It was the most enjoyable, non-​threatening ACLS renewal class I have ever taken. Here’s why:
First of all, Seth is an excellent instructor. He is calm and relaxed, but professional and credible in his demeanor. Seth is clearly fascinated by the science behind ACLS and his enthusiasm is infectious. Seth did a great job of covering the material we needed to pass the test and he was patient and persistent during the mega code preparation. When it was time for the test it was easy to pass because the information was clearly and repeatedly delivered during the class.
Another aspect of this training that works is class size. Our class was limited to six students. Seth creates an atmosphere that is conducive to learning in a group setting. Learning in a small group is very effective and comfortable.
If you have not seen them, the films AHA now produce for these classes are better than ever. ACLS has really evolved for the better since I have come into nursing.
The facility is pretty straightforward. I would not call it luxurious, but it was clean and organized. While I was not blown away by the décor, my learning was not distracted by it either. Life Sustaining Training provided coffee, bottled water and provided brain food in the form of Granola Bars and breakfast pastry. This was a nice touch.
If you are looking to renew your ACLS certification, I can’t think of a more painless way to do it. At the same time, this class was not a lark. When I walked out, I felt fully informed and ready apply my knowledge.

I took BLS class with Robert today. I had no idea a CPR class can be so much fun! You will learn a lot, you will enjoy it, and you will walk out empowered. Robert worked as a paramedic for 2 years and as an ICU nurse for 7 years, so he has a lot of good examples. He gives you great ideas on how to remember everything. He is very forthcoming with giving rationale behind each step, this way you’ll know why something has to be done a certain way. I will come back for more advanced classes, not because I have to, but because I want to learn more.

I took APR/​AED certified training class, and it was a lot of fun. our instructor, Robert, was really helpful and professional. I will definitely recommend this class to friends who would like to learn how to deliver CPR in an emergency condition.
The location is a little bit hard to find, but it is pretty convenience after the first visit. :)

I had to get a CPR/​AED training for a new job. I found this place through LivingSocial and made a class reservation. I came in and met the instructor, Robert, who told me I’d be the only student going through the 3 hour training that night. First of all, I thought it was really awesome that instead of canceling the training due to low attendance he just went ahead with it, which ended up in me getting out about an hour early.
The training was pretty straightforward — watch a video, work with the instructor, demo on a mannequin. Robert was very helpful, answered all my questions (however off topic or ridiculous they were), and I came out feeling confident and like I had actually spent a worthwhile two hours, when I had come in just wanting to pass the certification for my job.
Even without the Living Social deal it seems like the price (at least for the CPR/​AED training) was pretty reasonable.

Great training that everyone should attend. I bought my class through livingsocial & the life sustaining training honored it perfectly.
The trainer, Seth, is very knowledgable & provided hands-​on training. I highly recommend this training site.
