Amazing Funny and friendly Service! Ordered the Gangam Style Bowl and of course put an egg on it — and enjoyed every bite! Delish!!! Can’t wait to go back again!

This place was good, but not AMAZING. Service gets 5 stars in my book, very pleasant, personable, fun, helpful. I was at a brewery in Austin when my friends and I tried this place. They brought my doggie ice for her water since it was so hot outside!(AWWWWW!) Also the differentiation in the bowls was great. It was like Chipotle for different ethnic flavors. I thought my food was good and tasty! The wonton chips are a MUST try, addicting deliciousness. The music playing outside the truck was a little too loud for my taste but overall had a good experience with this food truck.

This truck was parked outside of our office during lunch today which made lunch pretty convenient. I got the Gangam bowl with steak and it was so good! The only thing I would do differently next time is add the fried egg because my co-workers said it was better with it. Even without the egg, I was a happy camper with my choice and I would definitely order food from them again. If you need another reason to check out this truck, the guys that work it are hilarious. Nothing like a little smile and laughter to go with a good bowl of food!

Had their Masala wrap from their food truck and damn it tasted soooo good. The portions are good size too. Loved it.

Brandon and his crew were the perfect end to Amy’s Ice Creams 30th anniversary 7 hour event! He was communicative throughout the planning process and offered food suggestions for all ages and dietary restrictions. Having guests requiring kid friendly, vegetarian or vegan options were no longer a stress that I had to worry about. The Load a Bowl food truck rolled in and required no set up or tear down on our end. Not only were the rice bowls fresh and tasty, the team was able to serve the event guests efficiently and with a super friendly attitude. When your event guests work in food service, they really appreciate that! I would highly recommend Load A Bowl for your next event.

Ate this when the food truck was parked at COTA. It was the worst Korean food I had ever had. I took two bites and even though the meal had been expensive, I threw the food away knowing I could not finish it. Perhaps it was an off day since they were being overloaded with customers/extremely busy, but I will most likely never try this place again.

Two stars for bad experience. It has been over an hour and I’m still waiting on my beef ghangnam. What a joke.

Load a Bowl came to my apartment complex today and had dinner options available for the residents. The staff said this was the first time they had done something like this, but you couldn’t tell. They were pros, so patient and friendly with everyone. I ordered the Gangam bowl(Korean) with steak and a fried egg, recommended by the staff. This was a great dish, one of the best I have had from a food truck in a while. The flavors compliment each other so well, I was pleasantly surprised. I will be seeking this truck out as I am out and about in Austin.

Usually, when I start taking shots at 8pm, things don’t end well. And, umm… they were pretty much heading in that very direction last night. So before the downward spiral completely bishh smacked me in the face, Hubs called ‘mayday’ and got me the hell off of drrrttyyy. «Ann. Drink water. Wrap your arm around me. One step in front of the other.» Okay ookayy, I’m fiiiiine. Oh HAAAYY, food trucks! Kevvvv. I need fooooddd. I don’t want a burger… nooo to Mediterranean food… ooooohhh what’s THIS?! I can’t read their menu from this far away. We need to get closeerrr! And that. was when they got me. I swear the tiny menu was done on purpose. Sneaky sneaky… «HI! Here– eat this.» A crispy fried triangle was offered. My pupils probably grew large, and said triangle was gone in a half a second. THIS! THISISWHAT I WANT, KEEV. Turns to food truck guy: What would you recommend? Are you new? I’ve never seen you befooore. Turns to Kev: this tastes like a cool ranch Dorito on crack. They were brand new. Located at the corner of 5th and Colorado. Won some food truck competition on Food Network and earned the food truck itself. The nice man recommended the Gagnam Load a Bowl. I was sold. Cause sticky rice. And I chose steak for my protein. Cause Texas, y’all. They even helped my not so sober self pick out some extra sauces AND gave me some more free crack Doritos. Woot! We walked a further 1.5 blocks to the car. I scrolled through my phone as I popped the last perfectly greasy, delicious triangle into my mouth. It was then that I was reminded I took a photo of the food truck logo. My eyes squinted– no jokes please, ahem– at the brightness of my screen. I brought the phone closer to my face. AHAHAHAAAA! Keevvv, I just realized why they’re called Load a Bowl!!!
