Truly the king of tacos. Between the four of us, we tried nearly all the non-organ tacos available: suadero, adobada, chicken fajita, bistek, and pollo de verde. All were delicious, but the real standout was the adobada. The pork had a perfectly crispy outer crust but didn’t sacrifice a juicy inside to attain that crust. Each taco comes with onions and cilantro + a lime to squeeze over, and average about $ 2.50 a pop. That may seem like a lot for a street taco until you consider that the woman who took your order is also making the tortillas fresh for your tacos. Nothing is made until you order it unless you order a torta or pambazo, in which case the bread is of course pre-made. Speaking of, now that I know about pambazos, I WILL be going back ASAP for one. Cash only but there’s an ATM in the gas station with only a $ 2 fee. They don’t sell drinks but you can(and should) break your ATM $ 20 bill to buy one in the store.
