Mattress Firm Clearance

Walked in supremely ready to buy. Literally cash in hand. We were greeted by an associate who apologized for his shabby appearance. Which was unnecessary. I surmised that because he wasn’t dressed like the other employees, they must have called him in last minute or something else out of the norm. At the time I was actually a little glad we got «the t-​shirt guy» as opposed to the «dress code guy». We really wanted a quick experience not at all to deal with pushy salesmen. Any way… cash in hand…
We’re shown to two mattresses, each less applicable for our described needs than the one before it. We ourselves stumble upon something that suits us but when we turn around to ask about it, the salesperson has disappeared. After tracking him down, he tells us he’ll check stock. 15 minutes later my pregnant wife looses patience and goes to find him again. He’s with another customer. We walked out immediately. 20 minutes later we were being handed our receipt from Factory Mattress across the street. My experience there was incredible (link to review below).
Also, and really more disappointing than the customer service, the prices weren’t excellent. This is one of their clearance outlets and the first dozen sets or so are $ 3000. Not what I was expecting.

Omission of Information Is Still Dishonesty
Long story short, the Mrs. and I were shopping to replace our aging tempurpedic. We went to Mattress Firm and Factory Mattress. Mattress firm was $ 400.00 higher for the exact same mattress, and Factory Mattress is a local business (Texas at least) so we went with Factory Mattress. I decided as a consolation prize, I’d buy a couple of the $ 130.00 tempurpedic pillows from Mattress Firm. The store clerk neglected to tell us that if we didn’t like them we were stuck with them, but he was quick to tell us this when I tried to return them after discovering they were incompatible with our sleep positions. $ 300.00+ down the drain. Not telling a customer that all sales are final is poor salesmanship, poor customer service, neglectful and dishonest. I will NEVER consider giving this company another dollar, and I would strongly encourage anyone considering a purchase to give their business to Factory Mattress. I bought a $ 99.00 cool touch mattress cover from them that turned out to be to «slippery» and even though they couldn’t’ take it back, they knocked the $ 99.00 off what we had already paid after already beating Mattress Firm’s price by $ 400.00. Mattress Firm — everything about this experience was UNACCEPTABLY POOR.

I was out running errands in the area and decided to pop into Mattress Firm and see if I could replace my broken bed frame, but when I got to the door of the store I realized some bad news – it was after hours and they were closed! My disappointment quickly faded when I was waved into the store by Caleb and another associate and asked what they could help me with, even though they were both at the end of their shift and probably ready to go home. They showed me a couple options and helped me make a great purchase that was both high quality and within my budget. Going even more above and beyond, Caleb carried the heavy frame out to my car for me, which was parked on the other side of the lot from the store. 5-​star wonderful customer service aside, the product purchased is also great. Sturdy construction and easy to assemble, can’t get much better than that!

Rusty and Joe really know their products. They are very patient and spent so much time answering questions. I feel like I’ve made the right choice with their expertise.

I experienced a warranty issue with a mattress I purchased about a year prior to this experience. I was unable to take care of the mattress replacement due to a car accident. Once able to deal with the mattress issue, the company I originally purchased from merged with «mattress Firm» causing confusion. I spoke to Aaron Brock, who quickly came to my rescue and helped me! Aaron went above and beyond to get me into a New mattress before the end of the weekend, calling managers, warranty depts, etc. Aaron worked on this for 2 days after he heard that the warranty dept was giving me a hard time. I would highly recommend Purchasing your new mattress with Aaron, good guy!

John and Steven were extremely helpful. This store has excellent customer service & John went above & beyond & was super friendly. I would not buy a mattress from any other store or company. Their prices are also amazing as well. Thanks guys for making my mattress experience superb!

After a nasty experience at a Factory Mattress Sales store a block away, I stopped by this place, and with no hassle, no uncomfortable high pressure sales technics, a very helpful lady arranged for a great mattress to be delivered and old one picked up the very next day. Next time we’ll need a mattress, decision making will be easy.

Fantastic experience, we worked with Colette Anderson, and she is sweet as a peach! We bought a Sealy TrueForm, and she gave us a very good deal. Bought it at 1:45 on a Sunday, had it delivered at around 7:30 that night. Highly recommended!
