This place is amazing! I have never felt so comfortable taking my vehicle somewhere before. They are the most honest repair shop I have ever been to. I will not be going anywhere else!

I was looking for a new place to take our vehicles, and was able to get an oil change in the new Malibu real quick, as a walk in, right after work one day around 5 pm. Went that Saturday, around 9:30 am, to get my Tahoe inspected, but I was told there was no way to get it done. That they were booked for pretty much the whole day, which is fine, I had no appointment. I guess the part that rubbed me wrong is that the gentleman I was talking to seemed to not care about my business and offer when he could help me, just a simple «Sorry, can’t help you today». When I looked around there were no other customers there, inside or in the parking lot, and all employees were sitting/​standing around from what I could tell. Other appointments for the day or not, if everyone is free, how long does a inspection on a vehicle with no problems take. Thanks anyways.

went in this week for my annual safety inspection. love that I can call ahead to see what the wait time is. Quick and easy in and out and done. And they have coffee and chocolate while you wait. Great business to have in our neighborhood!

This is my new mechanic! Super friendly greet, clean, beautiful waiting area w/​comp bevvies, professional staff (looks to be family owned and operated?) I feel so comfortable here. I feel their rates are extremely reasonable. They have a tv with ‘auto on demand’ to show you what is wrong with the vehicle if you’re unclear of the auto lingo jibberish they speak. How cool is that for those of us who are visual creatures? Shucks, I almost hate to give away my secret, but they deserve the kudos. Will def be back when necessary! They do everything including oil changes, inspection, & repairs. 35 & Wells Branch Pkwy by KFC.

I was recommended this place through my mom. She is pretty picky so when she recommends a place then I usually have to say it must be good! I stopped in for my inspection was told an hour wait, they had free sodas, water, Gatorade, coffee and full TV if you wanted to catch a show. The restroom was phenomenally clean. My wait ended up being like 30 – 45 minutes. Highly recommend and will be returning with any other car issues I might need to take care of. It seems family owned and I really enjoyed that too!

I’ve had them do oil changes and state inspections. Good to work with so far. I’ll keep coming back.

Good bunch of technicians and improved inside staff. Quick, fair, and they go out of their way to keep you from having to come back. They’ll even drive you home and pick you up later when your car’s ready! Great shop when great shops are hard to come by.

These guys definitely went out of their way for me! My car had a hose leak in the radiator, they took me in immediately, and even rushed my part the same day to get it fixed! Super nice, explained everything, and gave a fair price to fix. I will continue coming here. A+

I took my Van in for the first time for a check since the display in my ceiling was saying, «Provide Service». They were Close By, had a Nice waiting room and even had a Free Shuttle available (within 10 miles) to take me home & pick me up when it was ready, so I wouldn’t Have To Stay. I Consider that ~ Going the Extra Mile! Best News was, they found it was only a reset of the display. However, they did a diagnostic on my engine and told me how much upcoming replacement of spark-​plug wires & plugs, as well as brake rotors would cost. This gave me a ‘heads-​up’ and approximate time line for when it will need to be done! They were very helpful, considerate and honest. I Will Go Back!

Best. Mechanics. Ever.
Been taking the cars here for over six years. I know a little, and they’ve had many an opportunity to (try and) rip us off. More than once, I get from them «Oh, it was this tiny little thing, we fixed it, uhhh, no charge for that.»
They’re very friendly, they get the work done quick, they’ve got a shuttle, and, well, I assume they stand behind their work. I assume this because I’ve never had an issue that’s required them to look at a car for the second time on the same issue.
For real. They are awesome. In a world of so many terrible mechanics, they stand apart.

Today was the fourth attempt to get my car inspected since February here. Two times resulted in the «we’re too far behind to get to it», once was «we won’t have time to do it», and this time was «we don’t have an inspector here». The last one is disappointing because that’s the favorite excuse of Jiffy Lube and I thought they were better than that.

My most recent visit was great until I realized that they didn’t return my insurance after an inspection. When I called they didn’t even have a copy of it (so why did they ask me for it in the first place)?

Was excited to try a local place. Unfortunately, when I showed up for my pre-​scheduled appointment, they told me they couldn’t get to me. A call ahead of time would have saved me time and preserved my willingness to give them a second chance. But what’s the point of having scheduled appointments if you can’t honor them, or at least call ahead of time to reschedule.

I love this shop! It is a family owned shop and the employees are always so friendly. It is also next to the apt complex I live in. I’ve taken my car in for routine maintenance, emergency maintenance, state inspections, etc. Each time I leave feeling good and as if I got the best service possible not to mention I don’t get upsold on anything. On one occasion I had a flat tire so they repaired it. I drove it home and when I went to leave again it was flat again. I carefully drove it back there. The guy at the counter made light of the situation with some jokes and they changed my tire. All was well.
The other occasion was very simple needing my tire pressure checked. This was done at no charge and they did not seem like it was an inconvenience to them.
I will continue to visit McSpaddens and I hope they continue to remain friendly and not in the upselling business.

They do take care of you but be sure to have a lot of extra time on your hands. The mechanics spend three times as much time standing around as they do working. They had my car waiting for 30 minutes even with an empty garage and when thy brought it in for the oil change they had it for way too long.

This was the most comfortable automotive shop waiting room in which I have I ever waited. Two big tv’s playing my favorite channels, very clean everything, and no grease/​oil visible anywhere. I also had a nice chat with the man helping me.
I only got an oil change, but it was considerably less expensive than places like Jiffy Lube. They checked out my vehicle and never once tried to push any repairs on me (they actually let me know some concerns, but made sure to tell me that they were not in immediate need of repair).
The location is convenient, and although there is a good deal of traffic, it’s no problem to walk 20 feet if the nearest parking is taken.
I’ll go back there whenever I need work done…

Do NOT take your car here for repairs! Not only are they idiots when it comes to auto repairs, they will try to charge you a fortune. I took my 2006 Ford in because it was making a groaning noise when I made a hard turn. They told me there was an unidentifiable problem with my power steering, and the cheapest option for me would be to rebuild the front end. Their definition of «cheap» was $ 1200!!! I told them they were out of their minds and took my car to Pep Boys. Turns out all I needed was new front brake pads and rotors. The whole job, including parts and labor, cost me just over $ 300. My car runs just like it did the day I drove it off the showroom floor. McSpaddens is a huge ripoff.

Came here for a state inspection on a weekday morning. Quick and simple, 30 minutes, fixed price.
However, I do have to say that I’ve experience better. There are parking (about 15 total) on both sides of the building but there are always several Time Warner Cable vans taking up the prime spots. On that day, the majority of the spots were already taken. Wanting to make sure I’m parking at the appropriate spot, I asked the owner. In return, he responded with «ummm… at a parking spot?» in a «are you dumb» tone. Not a good start for a first time customer. The waiting room is nice but small. If you do plan on waiting here, you might just have to stare at the counter (and the owner) for the whole time, which can be awkward.
Lastly, a simple process of sticker replacement was done sloppily. Unfortunately, I’m not allowed to post my pic due to Unilocal policy. But essentially, there were sticker bits everywhere on my dashboard and a ton of white scratch marks right under the sticker area. It’s not a big deal but this tells me the level of attentiveness their mechanics put on details. If this is what they do with stickers, I fear for what they’ll do to the intricate mechanical parts…

Great family feel shop. Fast and friendly. Not intimidating like other shops where mechanics try to upsell at every chance.
