This store is a trap with their no-refund policy, which is absolutely ridiculous. No matter what form of payment you have used, you can bring in an original receipt from yesterday and they will issue nothing more than a store credit. Considering the stuff they sell, you are definitely NOT going to want a store credit!

Ok so this store is located next to Ross at Tech Ridge! I have never been in either before and was in the mood for some good deals! Ross was amazingly cheap and way better quality but, I ventured in to check out Melrose! First it was more expensive than Ross and I should have known better but, I purchased some things! Two skirts, watch, sundress, tank top and a ring. The ring I wore once and it is already turning my finger green! The two skirts and tank top are holding up ok. The sundress for $ 9.99 is where things go south! I put it on and the plastic ring that was holding the strap immediately broke! Why didn’t that happen at the store, no that would have been too easy! So, I take it off and choose a different outfit! Then I go to put it on yesterday and guess what the seam under the boobs is falling apart in two places! So, I sewed it and sewed the strap back on and turned to my roommate and said I bet when we wash this the only thing that will still be holding is what I sewed by hand! Will never purchase anything from there ever again! I would rather pay 5 dollars more for better quality!

yes, this store is located in highland mall. Yes I just found it yesterday and kind of went crazy there and spent too much moola and now I have to Unilocal about it. Why Melrose is actually cool. 1. The sell wide belts for 6 bucks(as compared to 30 elsewhere.) They sell purses for 8 – 10 dollars, accessories for the low low price of 1 – 5 buckaroos and I got a bomb diggity cap for 6 dollars. 2. Yes, some of this stuff is cheap, but it will last you as long as the style lasts, and for accessories its good enough. 3. They have CUTE plus size clothes. Everything is around the 10 – 20 dollar range, but in a world of plus size clothes, that’s super cheap. They also have a range of juniors clothes from 0 – 13, so everyones happy. 4. Almost everything is covered in polka dots or has belts. I didn’t even know I liked polka dots or belts. But I do. So there. My love affair with Melrose. Its out on the table. Susie G. wears semi hoochie clothes from highland mall retail stores. Whatever :)
